I dropped the Huggy thugs out, and replaced them with THE Ohio St. If Clemson does anything in the ACC tournament, then I'll move them ahead of Bucky.

I didn't want to be a 1 seed anyway. I wanted to be the underdog...
@BShark Got ya...lol.
@Crimsonorblue22 LOL...i'm kidding...I'm trying to change the subject, so I've asked 500 times...lol.
@jaybate-1.0 Like I said, it's a good question, and one that probably deserves a good answer. BTW, would you happen to know when our first game in the conference tournament is?
Sooo, when is our first game in the conference tournament?
@jaybate-1.0 Good question. I don't normally smoke cigars, but when I do, I normally use a Bic lighter, so my expertise does not lend itself to that question. But..it's a good question.
Soooo, when is our first tournament conference game?
@Crimsonorblue22 They're simply going to give the game to them...pure and simple...
bullshit call...
Us being behind is really all my fault. Before we played OU, our defense eff% was 24th. We win 104-74, and it goes up to 33rd. Then we beat Tech 74-72, and it goes up to 39th. Then we beat Texas 80-70, and our def eff % raised again to 43rd. So I told them that winning was really hurting our defensive efficiency, so it's my fault.
So, when is our first conference tournament game?
@BeddieKU23 amen. Completely lopsided calls.
@jaybate-1.0 More like a Toad's wild ride to the NIT...
@Crimsonorblue22 Now, don't you get mad. We gotta keep you positive so you can help with this comeback. RCJHGKU!
A KU friend of mine messaged me and said we're going to lose by 40 the way it was going, and I said, well, if we lose by 39, would that make you feel better??? LOL
@BShark It doesn't bother me - you're simply more realistic about it. I'm not mad that you're mad...lol.
@BShark LOL. My thinking is if nothing changes, we're going to get our ass kicked pretty solidly. But, if we were to somehow miraculously come back, and win, we'd feel real good about it, wouldn't we? So, if we're already going to feel like crap because we played so bad, why not dare to dream we could come back and win? That way, I can put off feeling bad until the end of the game.
@BeddieKU23 They're not going to shoot 57% for the game. Be patient.
Boston was down 26 to Houston, and came back and won.
@BeddieKU23 I'm not sweating this game. I think we'll come back and win it.
It should be over a little past 6 Eastern. When is our first game in the conference tournament?
Having to watch Silo vs. Faylor...oh, the horror...
@mayjay Exactly. Coach has us on speed dial.
@Crimsonorblue22 He's used him at the 2, the 3, and the 4. DG plays 40 minutes. When he does come out on those rare occasions, he uses Newman at the point. Maybe he feels better about Malik because of his experience. Now, just because Mayjay and I feel he should be a point guard doesn't mean Coach agrees with us. BShark certainly doesn't agree..lol.
@mayjay I agree. I've been saying that since we signed him. He is such a smart player- his bb IQ is literally off the charts. I think he'd be more than capable.
You Can vote for DG EVERY DAY..COME ON, LET'S STUFF THOSE BALLOT BOXES!
@Lulufulu I think we're going to win a national championship. I've only been right about that twice since 1988, but I assure you when we win, I will remind everyone I told you so.
I think Charlie develops into a pretty good college player. I don't think he was very good his freshman year, but most players aren't. Every player that sticks around seems to improve, sometimes dramatically, and I think Charlie will be the same. It's not like he's going to jump to the NBA anytime soon. His experience could come in handy with our freshmen guards next year.
@BShark They also have changed the story twice.
I'm not worried about Virginia. 1 Elite 8 appearance in 12 years of coaching for Bennett.
@dylans I've said all along, I think he's dirty. And I have no doubt he won't be coaching AZ next year. I object to an obviously fake story designed to take him out.
@approxinfinity I've watched them a couple times this year, and I think their offense looks like a high school team.
Yes, Virginia...there is a Santa Claus...
@BeddieKU23 Music to my ears.
@mayjay Once again, Selection Sunday is 9 days away. Does AZ or Stubby want the publicity of filing a 10 million dollar lawsuit against ESPN being the headlines right now? I guarantee you there will be a libel suit filed over this, but it won't happen until after the NCAA tournament.
@mayjay I have no doubt the libel suit is coming. Timing is everything. We are a little over a week away from Selection Sunday. To say that he would've immediately dropped everything, and filed the suit if he was innocent, and a victim of a smear is somewhat presumptuous on your part, imo.
"Let me be very, very clear: I have never discussed with Christian Dawkins paying Deandre Ayton to attend the University of Arizona," Miller said prior to the game. "In fact, I never even met or spoke to Christian Dawkins until after Deandre publicly announced that he was coming to our school. Any reporting to the contrary is inaccurate, false and defamatory. I'm outraged by the media statements that have been made and the acceptance by many that these statements were true. There was no such conversation."
ESPN boldly announced that the FBI had him talking on a wiretap about a 100K bribe for Ayton with Dawkins. Only problem was, the FBI wiretapped Dawkins from June 2017- Septemeber 2017, and Ayton signed with AZ in 2016. Oops. Then ESPN changes the story from " The FBI has Stubby on wiretap offering bribe" to "sources said"...hmmm.
Trier gets suspended for PEDS, screams bloody murder about it, appeals it, and is quietly reinstated. Hmmm...
Lots of really strange events happening to AZ - a bribe that never happened, and a "failed" drug test that obviously was a "mistake".
For the record, I despise Stubby. I think he's a bully, and a cheat. He knew what Book Richardson was doing the whole time. Book was the fall guy. But I hate corruption, and malicious lies from " trusted sources" even more. I find it hard to live with the fact knowing that AZ is cesspool of slime ( which will get drained shortly), but I hate the fact that ESPN would prostitute themselves to either A) make up a story wholecloth, or B) run a story in the belief it was true, even if it destroyed an entire basketball program, and not print a complete retraction, with a huge apology, and a public termination of the guilty party.
@BeddieKU23 No, you can't make it up. If they actually had Trier to rights, why would they let him play again? So, the appeal worked. A lot of really weird events happening around Arizona all at once ...doesn't this all seem very, very strange?

I hope I did this right :

Stubby was never caught on tape by the FBI working out a bribe with Dawkins. In this instance, the liar is ESPN, not Stubby. Doesn't mean he's clean, but those were false bogus charges that were laid out there, and then ESPN changed the story after the damage was done.
Way back when, when I was young, dumb, and full of %*$&, I paid for a tout where the guy told me to play Kent St ( or somebody ) at +8 with as much money as I could gather up, and Kent State? won by 48 points. I bet 1,000 on that one, and hit it big. Then, the next day the guy gives me 3 picks, and they all lose. To this day, I think that game was fixed.
@BeddieKU23 i think they'll let him go at the end of the year anyway. Too much fall out from the Book Richardson scandal, along with the Trier drug thing. Even if the "bribery story" falls apart, he has one too many strikes against him to stay in place, imo.
@jaybate-1.0 I think you're talking about the 1949/1950 scandal, where NY mobsters bought players to shave points.
