Dotson sees an opening in the defense and drives it without hesitation. It usually results in a layup, a pass to a big man for a layup, or free throws. It's something Grimes should be doing, but he's too passive. When he does, he hesitates and is too slow.

Doke's free-throws look pretty good today.

That was a pretty good first half for KU. A few too many turnovers but not bad overall considering how much KU has struggled in first halves this season.

Also, value-brand Syracuse isn't very good.

When rebounding, KU needs to put a body on people instead of trying to out-jump them.

Leaving Doke wide open under the basket is an interesting strategy.

I don't think McCormack looks a lot different than he did at the beginning of the season, he's just getting more minutes. He put the work in during the offseason.
