I would argue with you about kevins block not being clean but app still sucks, couldnt rewind to check

It was a foul. The block itself was clean, but the body contact should’ve been called. These refs were just really inconsistent with what was or wasn’t a foul throughout the game and that was really frustrating to me.

I concur. Seems like one or two were new to B12 games. Doug Sirmons, Keith Kimble, Bret Smith? Anyone know? I'm sure new refs in an atmosphere like AFH must be pretty intimidating!

Doug Sirmons isn't. I've disliked him for a while.

Genuinely shocking.

A lot of game left but TCU has a good defense, a good QB, and good skill position players. They are definitely legit.

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 08:52 PM

We had more fouls. They shot more free throws and more 3's. Most people who aren't Kansas fans just want to see us lose.

@KirkIsMyHinrich Boynton is the best coach we have went up against since...honestly... Ricky?

No bad coaches in the B12 now that Weber is gone. I was trying to rank them all the other day and was having trouble with it.

KJ is 6'6'' and starting at the 5 for KU and playing well. Anything is possible.

He seems to have perfected that little push shot from about 5 feet away from the basket. Seems like it always goes in

His passing is likely underrated by most as well. One of the best passing bigs we have played under Self.

Agreed. He tried to force a few today on the baseline but usually that pass will be there. Oklahoma St plays good defense.

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 08:40 PM

Every OSU fan and neutral fan who wanted KU to lose will fixate on that block that could have been called a foul but will ignore things like the most obvious moving screen in the world to free up Bryce Thompson for a 3 that put OSU up 64-62.

And then when we play at Oklahoma St later this season that controversial block will probably be replayed giving the impression that we had some huge officiating advantage because the game was at AFH.

At the half we had 9 or 10 TO's, i forget which, but we only had 12 at the end of the game and that's really a key to this comeback.

11 actually, which means only 1 in the 2nd half

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 08:20 PM

Wasn't that off OSU though?

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 08:16 PM

1-1 need to make it

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 08:12 PM

Of course. Also I guess we aren't calling moving screens anymore

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 08:00 PM

11/24 from 3.

Whoever gets OSU next gets the regression to the mean 2-19 game

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 07:47 PM

Jalen chill. Play under control

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 07:44 PM

Love the game from Dick. Oklahoma St isn't giving him anything clean on offense, but he has 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal and has been playing hard defensively

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 07:41 PM

Gradey with 9 boards

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 07:37 PM

That was really a nice effort by Gradey to keep that possession alive too

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 07:35 PM

D Juan from distance

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 07:32 PM

We're up 9-7 fouls and they've been chucking all day. Sure

@BShark said in KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread:

OSU already over their average made threes for an entire game. 18 attempts to 6. No wonder why KU is losing.

And we've already hit our season average on turnovers while also not getting to the line. Surprised it's not more actually

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 07:11 PM

They are 9/18 from 3 in the first half.

They average 6.9 makes per game at 32.5%.

Some of them have been wide open looks but they've also been hitting some contested hero ball shots.

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 07:07 PM

Is Udeh hurt or just not playing?

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 06:57 PM

Oklahoma St isn't a great 3pt shooting team but they are making them today. Need to guard the 3pt line

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 06:50 PM

Foul calls have been meh but we need to play a lot tougher. This is going to be every game in the B12

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 06:37 PM

KJ got called for a moving screen but Oklahoma St has been setting moving screens all day

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 06:36 PM

Dick got fouled

KU/Oklahoma St Game Thread • Dec 31, 2022 06:33 PM

Dick being active on defense. Love to see it

We survive. Casey the legend

BOWL THREAD • Dec 29, 2022 01:49 AM

This game is ridiculous. On one hand, I feel bad about some of the calls we've gotten. On the other hand, Arkansas gave up a 25-point lead and onsides kick.

So probably not then

I mean Nebraska just ate how much money to fire Frost early? If the boosters get upset enough the money is secondary.

His buyout is 52 million but okay
