Get that expletive out

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 01:42 AM

@Crimsonorblue22 And better

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 01:41 AM

They are bigger but we are quicker

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 01:34 AM

Michigan St players take after their coach with all the whining

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 01:31 AM

Running away with it with some young guys is fun

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 01:24 AM

Also, MSU slapping the floor? Super lame. Don't be like Duke

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 01:23 AM

Pettiford pushing right away. Underrated

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 01:21 AM

Bilas called the block on Ochai straight up but that's an obvious foul on Mitch? Okay

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 01:11 AM

Ochai

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 01:10 AM

"Connor" Gillespie lol

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 01:09 AM

Not just to give up the offensive rebound, but then not being able match-up on defense when it was 5v4 because that MSU player went diving into the bench.

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 01:06 AM

Bad Harris. Don't need that

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:53 AM

Were you expecting Uncle Fester to say something worthwhile?

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:52 AM

Fortunately we have depth this year for when Braun is not going

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:46 AM

I'd rather Remy take no shots than too many. Let's wait longer than 1 half of basketball to move him to the bench.

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:44 AM

"Small ball" lineups with Clemence and Wilson might be pretty nice

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:43 AM

KJ nice

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:43 AM

That reminds me of a Michael Jordan highlight, except MJ finished but ya

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:42 AM

Finish damn

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:37 AM

Straight to the vein inject that

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:33 AM

CB needs to stop doing stupid things.

Also please play Pettiford and Clemence a lot, Bill

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:29 AM

Weak

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:28 AM

Ngl I already like Clemence more than Dave

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:22 AM

Dave's adventures in the low post

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:17 AM

That sequence makes me miss Frank Mason

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:17 AM

Yuck Dave

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:15 AM

Nice pass CB

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:06 AM

Yikes Braun

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:02 AM

@BeddieKU23 Counterpoint: It's a smart foul because it gets him out of the game faster.

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 12:00 AM

He travelled before the charge anyway

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 09, 2021 11:57 PM

Weak

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 09, 2021 11:52 PM

@BShark I have that expectation. I'll probably just be disappointed.

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 09, 2021 11:47 PM

Calling a timeout in a 13-point game with 20 seconds left. Yay

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 09, 2021 11:45 PM

@rockchalkjayhawk CB probably will when Jalen comes back

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 09, 2021 11:44 PM

Are we good

Early Michigan St thoughts • Nov 09, 2021 11:42 PM

MSU start 7'0, 6'9, 6'8, 6'6, 6'0 so maybe Self goes bigger

Early Michigan St thoughts • Nov 09, 2021 11:42 PM

I would assume Harris, Remy, Braun, Agbaji, and Dave

Early Michigan St thoughts • Nov 09, 2021 11:40 PM

Hopefully enough so that I don't have to see Mitch a lot

Early Michigan St thoughts • Nov 09, 2021 03:25 PM

@drgnslayr said in Early Michigan St thoughts:

Wow! They are considerably taller than us! We better get out and run! Better hit the defensive boards hard because I'm sure Izzo will be targeting the offensive glass with this size difference!

This is correct. Not having Jalen for this game really sucks.

Early Michigan St thoughts • Nov 08, 2021 04:02 PM

Jalen Wilson is (imo) the best player on this team, and we're really going to miss him when we play Michigan St. That said, I think our guard play will be good enough to win, and I don't necessarily mean that Remy is going to score 25 points. Ochai, Braun, Dave, JCL if he plays are the type of players who benefit a lot when another player can get them the ball in their spot (catch-and-shoot 3's or in the post), and I think our guards are good enough to do that this season. I'm thinking Ochai has a big game and 1-2 other players get hot from deep.

I am nervous about our defense, though.

Non-KU Games • Nov 06, 2021 12:58 AM

Things you love to see.

Their game against Duke might get ugly.

ESU Game Thread • Nov 04, 2021 03:52 AM

I like our guards this year

ESU Game Thread • Nov 04, 2021 12:37 AM

@BShark First you break JCL's toe, and now this. Be better

ESU Game Thread • Nov 04, 2021 12:33 AM

Is Dave still super spazzy?

ESU Game Thread • Nov 04, 2021 12:25 AM

Has Clemence played any?

ESU Game Thread • Nov 04, 2021 12:19 AM

How are we looking?

@BeddieKU23 I don't like many things about this. South Carolina did a similar thing and didn't get punished nearly as badly. Lamont Evans, the assistant coach who got OSU in trouble, also worked at USC. USC has not received a postseason ban. The timing, doing this now as the season is starting, sucks. None of the current players at OSU had anything to do with this. It also feels like the NCAA wanted to wait until Cade Cunningham left before they punished OSU so that their tournament would have better ratings.

It's hard to see this and not think the NCAA has some sort of grudge against OSU (they successfully sued the NCAA a while ago). The lesson here is don't cooperate with the NCAA.

Let's go boys

JCL • Nov 02, 2021 09:52 PM

@BShark Ya they would be ranked 26th in both polls if they were extended beyond top 25. I still feel like really good is pretty strong language for MSU.

JCL • Nov 02, 2021 09:40 PM

Really good seems generous. They are unranked in both the AP and the Coaches poll. I guess we'll see.
