Oubre's 26 was a career high. I don't think he was being used properly on the Wizards to be honest. I don't think he'll be on the Suns either, though.

It's not the only thing, but one major problem this team has is turnovers. And the turnovers are happening a lot either when Kansas is in transition or feeding the post - times that Kansas should be scoring the ball . It's really bad when a 5-on-1 fastbreak nearly results in a turnover. I don't trust this team in transition at all. The post-feeding is a combination of things I think, but a lot of it is Kansas not being patient enough on offense to move the ball side-to-side, get ball-reversal, and get easy looks into the post. Instead we're forcing the ball into the post and it's getting stolen a lot. Dedric also needs to be stronger receiving the ball.
If Doke can't go next game I want a starting lineup of Dotson, Grimes, Garrett, Dedric, DMac. And I want KJ to play more. I absolutely think this team can be good without Vick.

@wissox Jimmy Dykes. Doesn't think KU is a top 5 team but thinks Tennessee and Virginia are the best teams in college basketball. But KU beat Tennessee. And Michigan St. And has played a much harder schedule than Virginia. We'll see how Virginia does when they start playing road games in the ACC.
It's looking like things are setting up for Tech to give KU a real run at a Big 12 title this season. Both of Tech's games against KState are early on in conference with Dean Wade out. Wade will probably be back by the time KState and KU play their first conference game in February.
@Kcmatt7 They average 26.4 free-throws per game and give up 15.5 free-throws per game. They might lead the country in free-throw differential. If not, they are up there. Standard Kentucky.

It's probably going to be similar to the ASU game in terms of the kinds of calls made by the officials in the game. The only difference is that Fran Fraschilla will be there to validate the calls against Kansas and question the calls against Iowa St. Can't wait!
