Sad state of fandom by Texas.
Let's go #Jayhawks beat osu by 39

#1 in all the land • Feb 24, 2020 09:25 PM

Let's start with the NET, the NCAA Evaluation Tool. Kansas has the No. 1 strength of schedule and the No. 1 nonconference strength of schedule. The Jayhawks lead the nation with 11 Quadrant 1 wins and 18 Quadrant 1 or Quadrant 2 wins. They have the lowest average NET win and NET loss in the country.
And now for the metrics. Kansas is No. 1 at KenPom, Sagarin and the KPI, and it is No. 2 in ESPN's Basketball Power Index (BPI) and strength of record. The Jayhawks' adjusted efficiency margin at KenPom is more than four points higher than No. 2 -- less than the gap between No. 2 and No. 6.
In a season during which we've constantly argued that there's no great team, Kansas' adjusted efficiency margin compares favorably with top teams in previous campaigns -- and the Jayhawks are on pace to have the lowest adjusted defensive efficiency in the KenPom era (since 2001-02).

WOW!!!! Beat OSU. Come out fighting.

Down Go The Aztecs! Down Go The Aztecs!

San Diego State falls for the first time this season 66-63 at the hands of a red-hot UNLV team.

Beating Baylor • Feb 23, 2020 03:02 AM

this was a big win. All the channels I watched talked about it during all the other games. I put my rally cap on with under 4. 7-0 on the road, we're tied and control their own future. let's see baylor still has kstate, at tcu, tech and at wvu. proud of the coach because he learned from first meeting and he was strategically smarter than Drew. Glad to have the memory of Doke's 23-19. It will live along with EJ at ISU and so many others. I hadn't seen Doke that animated after the game and shushed all his haters.

@Crimsonorblue22 I don't think anyone has a bad word to say about her and Coach told us when asked by someone that it was probably good he didn't talk to her (???) he said "No NO, She's got a great chance to do good."

But as I watched her throughout the game, I couldn't help but wonder if she gave them all our background stuff that she was privy too to steal a win. Guess it didn't work out the way she wanted. I did notice that by the time our team had come out and people were standing around I noticed her Jeep was already gone and that was barely 45 mins. after the game had ended. We did see that Haep guy and Sims and all KU fans told them good game. We weren't mean or anything.

I've tried resizing my photos and videos but not getting it done. How do I?

At the pregame met a fellow graduate (89!!!) of the Leavenworth Pioneers and he was telling me he was going to Morgantown for the first time. Lives 4 hours from there so didn't want to pass it up this year. Devon's uncle and aunt were from the Bay Area and I had swiped a Jayhawk cutout from the pregame and had brought one thinking I would get the guys to sign it, but instead asked his Aunt if she wanted one and she was so happy. That's why she told Devon to sign my book before anyone else. They were sure talkative and happy to see him bounce back. Very proud of all the kids. He winced several times coming back to bench after timeouts and you could tell in the first half he was still stiff.

Now Marcus's mom remembered me from San Antonio and she was standing the whole time Marcus was being worked on. You could hear him hit the floor (I was on that end behind our bench). Dr. Randall was out there too and when Coach came back to the bench you could read his lips....Marcus out. Enaruna get ready.

The place wasn't even sold out. Said in the paper today that there were a little over 11,200 there and there sure was a LOT of Blue.

I was the only one down there watching the bus when it came in and while waiting Fran Fraschilla came out of his car and into the ESPN trailer. When he came out, he looked my way and took off in the other direction. Before the game, he walked out to half court and talked to Hudy (who was doing warm ups) and Gurley went out and joined them. Never saw the other guy doing the broadcast with Fran. I've taped the game to see what Fran says at certain parts of the game. I'm going to wait on that for now.

I heard a lot of terrible weather stories from people trying to get there and they couldn't believe we were in the 70's. Was cold and rainy in the morning but sunny and warm when we came out. I think that's why they lingered outside. I asked Tristan about weather in KS vs weather in Nederlands and he said that this was so much better than either.

I took a pic of Coach with his granddaughter. You could see him as he was getting ready to sit for tipoff he turned to her and waved at her and Tyler was there. I asked Dajuan if it was hard just sitting there and he said "for sure it is" but he said it's been great to learn new things.

And finally, JALEN WILSON is even CUTER in PERSON than on TV. I asked him if he was going to get to play anytime soon and he said he hopes so.

I'll remember more but it's time to watch THE CHIEFS.

Hi everyone. As bad as the first half was it got some what better ib the 2nd. The flow of the game was out of sync. At the 8 minute mark an older lady behind UT bench had a heart attack and play stopped for awhile and all the commercials didn't allow either team any rhythm. But the charge/block of Marcus was the game changer. I lucked out on my seats. 4 fans from Topeka who hated KSUcks as much as i do were behind me and 2 guys in front and 2 girls from Wichita next to me. Was fun when Devon made that 3 to seal the game as all the UT fans bailed. We sang the chant and it was beautiful. A young kid who sat next to me last year came by with his mom to say hi after the game!! I've met so many great fans over the years. I met Devon's uncle and aunt and showed them and another couple where they come out to get the bus and she told Devon when he came out to 'sign this nice lady's book' and he did! I got 3 media guides from HCBS earlier in the season so i had each player sign their page along with the coaches and even Gurley and Hanni and the team doctor i know. Hudy was around pregame and eas hugging everyone but Coach said he never got to talk to her when I was getting my picture with him. Did more videos than photos but it won't let me post here from my phone. Too big. Saw Dedrick and high fived all the Austin Spurs guys there with him.

Just stopping in to wish all my fellow Bucketeers a HAPPY THANKSGIVING. Gobble Gobble. Hope you have family, food and fun.

I am grateful for your support and most importantly, your friendship.

Hard to express what went through my mind watching that game yesterday. Just so proud of the team and think that the time they spent together will bring only good things this season. No disrupters. As @drgnslayr always said, this team has a chip on their shoulder and proved to themselves they could do it. Dayton was simultaneously good and bad. Exceptional shooting but short on respect.

Mr. Shorty Shorts has put in the hard work and it shows. Coach always :heart_suit: a mind focused on defense and Marcus has heard him. Just an amazing stat sheet for the whole team. This is what we lacked last year.

Anyhoo, all the best to each and everyone here and to @approxinfinity for providing us this platform to be a part of.

FROM ESPN:
Graham might be the season's happiest surprise, even if he's not surprised. After a strong practice late last season, Graham approached Charlotte coach James Borrego and declared, "I'm ready," Borrego recalls. Borrego installed him as Kemba Walker's backup. He showed enough to earn the same job behind Terry Rozier.
Graham spent the summer strengthening his legs so he could put more power into the off-the-bounce 3s that would make or break his career, Borrego says.
And then, boom. Graham is averaging 18 points and seven dimes per game, and he has hit 41% on 3s. Charlotte has scored 106 points per 100 possessions with Graham on the floor, and a pathetic 93 when he sits.
Last week, Borrego inserted Graham into the starting lineup in place of Dwayne Bacon. Graham is not giving up that spot anytime soon. He has been better than Rozier (by a lot) and everyone else on Charlotte's roster. The next step is getting more comfortable finishing in the paint, but Graham has arrived.
