you have some legit concern about today's game , the bad losses like Liberty , OSU , Wichita and such were earlier in the year , as much as I can't stand them I have to give it up and say they are playing really solid ball now. Four game winning streak , that dam place might be loud, Plus the way we have had a habit of blowing big leads, we have played so , so on the road.- - It will be a nervous game , hope we come out and control game from tip to finish- --we don't do that, we usually start slow can't have that today cause that will make them think they are going to beat us for sure.

Having said that I'll go KU 71 -- those guys - -67

@kuballin10 I just think El Marko who has now been in the system for a couple of years in the system will be the one who runs the Pg and then DP also will have some run although I think we see DP more at the two but for sure capable of the PG. DP is just a all around ready capable steady player

Just read how KU has made great strides with a top notch recruit in the class of 2026 and have things in their favor and is trending really strong.

Caleb Holt a 6'5 SG- - the # one SG in the Nation in 2026 - -& the # three overall ranked player in the Nation has Ku trending really strong for in 2026. --The big advantage for us once again is he is a long time standing Adias kid which helps a lot and as we know helped us plenty with DP , for sure a name /kid to keep an eye one, think we stand a good chance

Once again going to have to fight with Kentucky though then Ol Miss and a couple of others but think things look good. - --ROCK CHALK

@FarmerJayhawk Lance has done a great job at retaining his players.-- That speaks for itself players want to play for him , respect him , and love the School.

I read some of the comments under the article you posted. One said that's because no one wants any of the players KU has so why transfers .--To me that statement sounds more like a fan ( do you hear me kitties in Mancrappin ? )- they are afraid that their time for riding ruff shod over us is done, and know were coming to kick ass and take names and they are envious now worried about how improved we are and our commitment to the program, - I think there ARE Schools that would take some of our players in a heart beat if they were available

@nuleafjhawk Well , I'm not sure if I would go along with that 100 % or not , but everyone is entitled to their opinion, I think when JD is 100 % healthy I would say JD is above an average QB.- -and yet there is the problem---- - -when is the last time he has been 100 % healthy?

We have seen JD has the wheels to be a pretty decent runner- - the thing is we haven't been able to see it a lot these last couple of years as the staff has taken that out a lot of the time because I think they was being careful of re-injury- -I think to careful.

The kid has a cannon for an arm , true he might not of made or has not made the best of decisions some times making costly mistakes throwing to double coverage or just blatant poorly thrown balls , but then again I have seen myself for sure anyways and know others have too where he displayed unbelievable throws and actions. I can't remember who it was against-- I guess my old timers disease is kicking in but he threw for what ?--like 450 some yards and six TD'S in one game or a combination run/pass for six---it was in the Bowl game or against Texas- -something like that. -- - -That to me is better then a good High School QB and it's better then an average
College QB.

You mentioned about him being mentioned in the early Heisman, ya he was and rightfully so up until the point when he got hurt. Our W-L record up until the time he got hurt , and I know you saying you care about the stats but the record AND his stats don't lie UP UNTIL the time he got hurt, the record and stats proved he deserved to be mentioned in the early Heisman talk

For me, I think it's going to be very interesting year, I think our program has came a long ways and JD has had plenty to do with that. Could he be better ?- -Of course and I think if he is 100 % and under Z's creative offensive play calling we WILL see JD's running more with option and he also will let it fly passing --Looking forward to this Season

I think we are sitting pretty decent shape with our Three QB'S we have. One that was a stud that redshirted last Season i think from Michigan , got him over some really big name programs and yes those programs offered can't think of his name off hand but really good.- - run or pass--- Like JD but truly believe he is better- - then we had a QB I believe out of Oklahoma I think looks like he has a cannon for an arm - -then this kid Jaylen , QB out of Wichita , one of the top 10 best here in Kansas, I think our QB room sitting pretty solid to run this offense in the coming years

@nuleafjhawk your right , I'm sure well you have too think with JD-6 not having any experience under Z offense , as far a experience terms of running his offense, JD is at the same starting point as our other QB, kinda like a freshman in that respect.

I mean obviously JD'S 4-5 years of overall College ball will for sure give him a big edge, but you can bet our other two will be getting plenty of spring ball reps for sure , just in case worst case scenario this does drag out.

One year - -JUST FOR ONE YEAR , I would like to be able to get through Spring or off Season with our injuries or drama.- -Watch this thing drag out, then they will end up saying well Jalen has had a little set back- - or Jalen is just day to day , way our/his lucks goes

Mercy, just read that Jalen is going to be limited in Spring practice due to and off Season surgery,-- Third tine in four years this being the case.-- Tis time dealing with an ankle.

With a whole new set of Receivers , Tight end and new running backs-- With a new man OC 00 Coach Z , which Daniels has run under yet because Jalen didn't play in the bowl Z was calling plays ( Jason Bean did )--- Daniels is already behind . the described the procedure as minor but going to be limited the whole spring. That's not a goof way to start with so many players learning the system without QB- 1 . kid can't catch a break

I think one part of this issue - - - won't be an issue , a I truly don't think diggy will be back. With El Marko being here and with what we got coming in , diggy won't be back.

DP definitely can handle the ball in pressure, NBA people ay he si ready and drooling. Just a complete ball player, petty well has it all. drains three's could be some better but , Hits mid range, can create , rebounds well , can dish the dimes- -he is a man. enjoy him for the year w got him.

@FarmerJayhawk Ya, his committing or making his announcement on the 10th. Will make 7-11 for us in the State , Lance and staff has really made in roads in the State.

I know this happens a lot but K/State is really giving JJ the business for committing to KU. I mean Daddy played for K/State and them living there in Manhattan --say it isn't so lol. I think their fans is actually hurting their selves , saying they don't think this is over with JJ , and it might not be BUT them dogging him and his dad when he sticks up for JJ is sure helping hem.

We have several of these kids that are right on the cusp of being a 3 * Lance and the guys are off to a awesome start for 26.
