I see him as a five star when he plays free. If he wants to play he needs to make shots, get in front of guys and board. Keep chucking up shots and getting back on D. Give 100 percent until he gets yanked.
Gradey? Too early to say if he will leave but he should significantly up his shooting results. He is still getting by on his laurels but not stunning with results. NBA teams know all that stuff so I won't be surprised either way.
Another 10 plus deficit in the first half. We weren't torqued up but 6/23 from three is not a new result for us. If we hit 4 more it's a lift and pressure on the Cyclones and virtually a toss up game. Other than that we go 11/21 well meh. We just can't shoot straight and 53 points is pretty pathetic but ISU didn't burn the house down themselves. How many offensive fouls about 8 or 9? Ist half at KSU down by 15. By 22 at home against TCU. At Baylor down by 13. A team that gets down by 6 to 10 possessions is a lot of stops and successful results on our end.
11-7 in conference and 8 losses going into the NCAA's. A really good result for most but we are spoiled brats.
We've seen this before and it's a bitter pill but we can play much better. Nice game JWill. Thank you.
We know this team has little margin for error. It bites us today. It's going to happen about three or four more times I guess. Four conference losses will be a very good year for some teams.

The biggest difference was three prayers being answered. A 27' turnaround three, a gifted flip in the lane and another three from the sideline that was a one in 30 make.
We are not quite at their intensity.
Our three 2023 recruits are a PG, CG and SG. They only differ by 1" or 5 pounds. The clone class.

I think only KU and Texas have overall winning road records this season. This second half of the conference season will be murder. Bill seems to be fired up and keeps saying this squad has little room for error. Yep.
Self told KJ to play his butt off at both ends of the floor to wear Oscar down. Also Udeh was making Oscar fight for position.
Did Kentucky ever get the lead in the second half? Seems we had an answer to keep that 4 to 6 point gap. I know Oscar cut it to one on FT's.
I was impressed with Udeh's focus and size. My thought right after the game was he made his case for the second number five spot. We will see. MJ ls a better choice going forward to spell Kevin and Gradey. Needs much more court time to let his talent flourish. We play against so many studs each week along with good coaching. Other reams are experiencing the same wear and tear. You could see that Self has urged every player to shoot and score.
Okay here comes the KSU Wildcats into our zoo.

Self and Jalen spelled it all out in their latest media interactions. The same information has already been espoused by ya'll in this forum.
On the down side of things Self addressed the unfortunate scheduling of the SEC/B12 Challenge in the heat of conference play. He said one B12 coach said he may rest all his starters to let them heal up. I hadn't even thought of that. Self said he wants to win the game and would do what's best for the team at the same time. He said MJ is 100% ready to go. Cool. The only thing I like about the UK is they once had Ashley Judd as a cheerleader.
Self likes to win every game and I'll say he wants to especially beat coach Cal even though all these top coaches are competitive and will say it's just another game. He puts guys in trying to win but in the end it's the players who make the plays or don't. Ta Da it's Captain Obvious. If we cold start again I'll be worried and hope we don't look over matched.
