Haven't heard of a lingering injury just physical pressure defense and aggressive guards on offense. Pettiford and Joe are trying mostly one on one plays and our slow half court offense requires us to hit threes and bunnies. We need a better and better MJ.

Jalen and GradeB+ are going to have us expecting 50 points every game. Gradey is really going to be the best at going to the hoop and finishing. The fear of defenders regarding his ability to shoot from deep has his fake and drive from the corner an effective answer to the teams trying to make it a four on four game. He will get a hoop plus one or an open pull up eight footer every time. Jalen scores 38/30/23 and we lose three in a row?
Spotting teams double digit leads is not our defense as much as it is so many missed shots and turnovers lead to easy baskets. Teams focus on our power two and no one else seems to keep us in the game.
All of our really good defensive plays by Jalen, Kevin and Juan don't get rewarded when our bricks follow them. The teams can get the big leads against us seem to get ridiculous from three or on the offensive boards. I'm not sure our personnel can fix the offensive board thing. We need Udeh to become that guy the other teams seem to have but he doesn't even play.
Our bench hasn't scored worth a flip and struggle to even run the offense a lot of the time. Who can really help us? Maybe MJ.
The starters are going to wear down more and more from too many minutes.
How many conference losses? I hesitate to say seven but unless we can be even or leading going into the second half Jalen's AA year will not be enough.

It should be an interesting game. Will Bill let them play out of it and also does he really have any choice? I say throw all of us to the wolves (bears) and work through it. Gradey please get back to your instinctual type play. Joe and Zack chuck up threes. Have at least three of our big guys foul out and play like KJ baby!!!!
We can get 20 from Wilson, 15 from Gradey and 30 from KJ/Juan/Kevin. That's 65 and bench points could be 10 more to make 75. That would be a narrow margin but is that enough? Contributions from all needed night in and night out. It's going to be a long hard road with more home losses a real possibility.
What can change to make us better and avoid being in a last possession game on a regular basis? If we improve our bench scoring to the 10 point level we may be circa a seven loss team.

How many of our games in a row were single digit wins. When it came to crunch time the other team made errors and we hit a shot or two. This one was decided by our errors and they hit the easy lob and we hit the game winner but screwed it up. In hindsight Bill over coached with the last two timeouts. It happens and reminds me of Marty Schottenheimer in the Chief's playoffs at crunch time when it's 4th and 15 and he would take a TO and set up a screen pass.
Let's see what happens in the tough games coming up.
