I'm worried we have 2 more years of McCormack. The kid doesn't get it.
This announcer needs to go home.
That two man game earlier with Dave and Marcus was fugly. Marcus banging an open runner off glass. Dave nowhere in position to board.
Bryce has been good
Jinx
At this point I'm not imagining what Dave could be. I'm imagining what his replacement could be. It's less mental effort.
He was ok offensively first half. He was average defensively and didn't set screens.
Pass the ball TGF
Seriously wtf on the crowd noise? Is this Bill's doing?
@BeddieKU23 first 3 of the year was Dave's man the possession before the moving screen. Wide open.
@FarmerJayhawk itll be interesting to see if Antony Blinken can convince the rest of the world that America is actually rejoining the rest of the world or if we will do an about face in 4 years when the next Trumpist wins the presidency.
@BeddieKU23 nice thanks. 4 steals. Sweet
Did Harris play every minute of the Peach Jam final? Anyone have a box score?
@jayballer67 thanks for keeping it real. I feel prepared thanks to you @drgnslayr and others' reminders that shut down is likely

Marcus and Harris can't play together if they both can't score.
I have been thinking the same thing for several games now, and Harris should start at point. So that being said, with the current roster and makeup of the team Garrett needs to come off the bench. Ofcourse, that is not going to happen.
Exactly. :hundred_points: same thoughts here, but that's assuming Marcus isn't just under the weather. If he returns to elite defensive form and is at least an average scorer (which he clearly was not against NDSt.) then I think they can start together. But, it's a lineup with a bit of a scoring deficiency, that seems to be plus everywhere else.
I think Marcus' minutes could be decreased and should be as the season wears on, 37 last game is not sustainable.

This teams needs time to rest, but has to play Creighton in two days.
Well. Good practice for the tourney I guess
Hey I enjoyed Tyons effort. Good to see his skill set.
Marcus and Harris can't play together if they both can't score.
Marcus still sick?
Jesus.
This isn't offense.
Shaping up for an Ali Farokhmanesh finish.
We will win this by double digits and have no bullshit lineups in until it's under control.
Bill gave the guys the week off after Kentucky
Light in shooters face
Are we allowed to use recordings of fans in AFH to create familiar noise
@benshawks08 I was thinking Ochai, Enaruna and TGF
Nice D Enaruna. Looked good guarding perimeter
I want to see us run lob plays from Harris.
I want to see lots of Enaruna. I mean. Assuming we aren't going to lose.
@DanR mine is people saying that they are weary of something when they mean wary or leery. It flustrates me.
We'll straighten this out. I am thinking that seeing a big disparity on +/- even against the weakest opponents should be a clear message to Bill.
I love the sunlight on the court.
@benshawks08 saw this. The Republican Party is pathetic right now.
Wilson can't jump, at least as far as he has shown. There's no way if Devon can't get drafted will the league draft a OAD that can't jump

@BShark Possibly Gregg Marshall ????
@approxinfinity - LIFETIME BAN me for that comment.
all you get from me is this lousy thumbs up.
@BShark winner!
@BeddieKU23 I thought you were calling them "fighting things." seemed a weird term of endearment.
TGF knows how to get sneaky backdoor buckets
I don't think I've ever seen Dave not slip the screen or move early
I'm predicting 16 points for Dave on 5-12 shooting with 4 turnovers
@drgnslayr said in Dajuan Ball Hawk Harris:
I'm going out on an early season limb here... I think Harris is going to end up being a real legacy player at Kansas! I think his size will keep him a 4-year player and he will create some big waves (with help from others)... and it may be Final Four waves eventually! Like I say... I'm out on a limb! lol
I'm going to go out on that limb with you and say that in a year where I find myself going to sports more than usual to find a kernel of pure goodness and inspiration, it's there in the play of Dajuan and Wilson. A clarity of basketball mind that rings out like a harmonious chord or maybe a pentatonic scale when accompanied by Agbaji, Braun and Garrett. It's soothing and familiar like runs of old, it is timeless and quiets the critic in me. It beckons me to bear witness, marvel, and enjoy.
We may lose to Baylor, even badly, but I'm not watching this group to cut down the nets. I'm watching to experience the magic of 5 kids attuned to each other working their ass off, guarding hard, trusting each other and themselves and being resourceful, come what may.
Those 5 on the court make me a better fan. And if the addition of one kid can make it all click into place, that kid is pretty special.
@Kcmatt7 said in Coaches with their masks down:
I think coaches wearing them is silly. Completely lacks logic.
It is okay to let 15 strangers gather and breath all over each other for 40 minutes, but the guy who is 10 feet from everyone should be wearing a mask lol.
Just no common sense there as far as I'm concerned.
I understand your point, but wearing it around their chin is the dumbest possible outcome.
I'm watching The Crown right now, and its funny seeing the juxtaposition of Elizabeth essentially living in a prison of her own making so that she can be a good example for the country compared to the foolishness of these jokers on the TV.
I'm not opposed to slapping a black warning label on the bottom of the screen saying "wearing a mask around your chin and yelling in people's faces is dangerous right now. these people are paid actors" for sporting events right now to remind people that there is a distinction between this and reality, and then letting the coaches ditch the mask. Or cancelling the season. That's ok too, if things are bad. It may be depressing as hell, but it's ok.
Bring on the robot refs
Culver fell apart and the refs didn't help.
Wow what a shit call ref.
Umar ballo is a gigantor
@jayballer67 yeah Suggs is having his way so far.
I'm gonna call it now. WV will beat Gonzaga. Gonzaga is good, but they're not way in front of the pack as everyone thinks. WV has real bigs. And we just sucked.
All the prima Donna refs are gonna t up coaches all season now that they can hear them.
