@BShark thanks for the analysis to temper my expectations, you're right they're very different. I'm not meaning anything deeper than the eye test last night against a bad school in spot minutes. He's got some Frank style in him. I sincerely enjoy the last three minutes of blowouts still being exciting to watch with highlight reel dunks, tight handles and pure 3s. That was fun!
I really like Thompsons pull up jumper from around 10 feet out. After beating his man on perimeter its fearless, pure, and he seems to be best on team at creating his own pull up jumper. Stretches the floor and gives Bill a nice tool to work with when we need a bucket.

@jayhawks2010 I think your assessment pretty much nailed it. I might be a tad higher on TGFs play so far because he seems to have "it", but I like your criticisms and I think they're realistic. I agree on Harris' shot and Thompsons shot. And I :hundred_points: agree that I want to see more Jossell. I see Frank tbh. Tough as nails. Makes the smart pass in rhythm (honestly I think Harris may be a passing savant but Jossell looked like second best passer on the team last night) has complete body control, and his shot is pure! I don't have an opinion about Gethro yet. He's just too raw and timid to know what he will become.

This is useful. If Dave can end up decent on the defensive end, and we limit his usage on the offensive end and have him set more firm screens, I think that's all I really want. At the time he sagged off those 3 pt shooters I was was blaming Dave. Not his fault.
Meanwhile, we get news about the Trump administration failing to lock in 200 million more doses from pfizer (ie the 95% effective vaccine) when they initially offered them with no cost if the trials proved to not be effective. They offered them again in October and November, and were turned down by the administration. And now the EU has locked in 300 million doses and we will have to wait until after that to get more, probably July. So if we get to July and Europe is all clear and we are still piling up bodies in the US, remember this.
And @Marco again, this is why Europe doesn't have the infections and deaths that the US has. Because they have more competent leaders who put the well being of their citizens first.

@jayballer67 I agree its progress and I hope it continues. However, Im a Harris fan and I'd like to see he, TGF and Enaruna continue to get meaningful minutes because they are also important. My frustration with poor play from Dave is in large part because I know we have a lot of other talent that gets it on the bench when he's in.
Thompson looked good until he lost his poise. Really enjoy his foul line pull up. Pretty money.
I try to think of the criticisms of Doke. Some were similar. Couldn't defend the 3, couldn't rebound particularly well. But that stuff ended when he got in shape. Dave appears to be in shape but has gotten worse not better his Jr year and is a way way worse scorer while having the same massive usage rate.
He shot 5-7 in the first half and that's all he did. If he wasn't in there other people would have scored and contributed more to the game. He left wide open shooters all night, didn't rebound well, never ever holds a screen, got called for a moving one, shot off balance garbage after the first 10 minutes, there just is very little to like. Still can't time a blocked shot for the life of him.
