Someone has talked to Dave. Great baseline pass there.
I'm scared to even say this lest I jinx it. I think Dave looks relaxed and more in control.
And the cheer track goes wild!
I'm glad Huggins has that prosthetic beard to keep his chin warm in the winter. Looks like an idiot.
@wissox someone was talki g about how he couldn't really practice in the Netherlands? :man_shrugging:
If Kansas had a b team that played its own schedule I'd gladly watch that too.
Dave is in the flow. Wow.
Yes pls. Och + Wilson
Huggies mask is like my toddlers Huggies. Always half falling off.
@BeddieKU23 ah cuffe
What new recruit? Football?
Let's rub shoulders on these screens.
Good looking Garrett jumper.

Nets offense is insane. Defense will be the question for them.
They're really deep. Caris Levert is an undercover star.
Game is so late. Watched most of the Nets game. Looks like the team to beat in the East.
@jayballer67 I appreciate the positives you're spelling out with Marcus. My question is this: is it possible to have Marcus and Dave on the floor while telling the team that Jalen, Ochai and Braun are the primary options? I think definitely in Marcus's case I want him on the floor if he is off ball and more a facilitator on offense. In Dave's case, he's not a good defender but he's still better on that side than O. Does anyone have an insider perspective on this other than what we seem to be observing with the offensive shot selection? And regarding how Marcus is bringing up ball when on the floor with Harris. It seems Self is letting the team decide who brings up ball and who shoots, a lot.
@jayballer67 it's time for him to take over the Knicks.
@Bwag to be honest I can't remember a time when I thought about KU actively promoting BLM since the season started. It's been a non factor imo.
@Marco I would be a little sad because he seems to be a hard worker and care and doesn't get into trouble off court. But I don't feel a strong connection to him. Honestly, I think the bond I feel (and probably most people feel) with college players usually comes from the growth in their games. The feeling that you've traveled down the road a distance with someone and you both are different people, with an understanding that this relationship is asymmetrical. So it's very hard when there is no growth.

Calipari's rotation this year
Center that averaged 13/9 in the ACC, two top 10 guards, 4 PG, 2 top 30 post recruits off the bench, 5th year SR PG...various other 4s on the bench.
Self's rotation this year
Fancy Walk-on, JUCO, unranked wing (best player too), ex MO STATE commit, 3* white boy from OP, Jalen, a PG that can't shoot, Dave and Bryce.
One coach is 7-1 the other is 1-5.
Love this.
I said that Self got out coached. I want to take that back. I had Dave blinders on. Self clearly does it his way and still wins. Loved this in bounds play.

Love that Self always has a few guys that can step up in the clutch. Ochai was :fire: and that comes from trusting guys so...
I want Dave to be better at basketball. I won't pretend to know much about Dave off the court. What I know is what I see on the court. He could have a big heart in real life. I don't know. But his style of play, which is surely both the product of his own capacities as well as what coaches dictate, is sticky and unenjoyable to watch. I'm sure my opinion would change if it was much more effective. I would have felt the same way about Doke's play if he couldn't make shots, back when he didn't rebound or defend well.
So, I'd like to say that I don't want Dave to transfer, I certainly don't want him to out of spite. But I want him to be happy with his role and I don't want his game as it currently stands to have a prominent role on this team.
Had to do something on server. All better now.

Where is last year Dave on the scatter plot?

I watched my annual 5 minutes of NBA BB last night. Wigs looked ok😉
Yeah he decided to play D it looks like and he's doing great.
@BeddieKU23 I think Dok was 162 of 241 is senior year and 211 of 274 his sophomore. I agree Dave has been a statistical mess
Going to draft tomorrow for my league and I have no idea who I want to target. If anyone wants to drop some thoughts about who I should target, I'd be all ears.
Maybe Bill will change his ways when we get smoked by Baylor
Man I'm sorry guys. I think I'm short on sleep or something; not seeing the glass half full on these grind games with dave and Marcus jacking up garbage.
Ls up.
"and Dave you be Dok this year, and Marcus you be Devon. 1...2...3.... GO TEAM!"
joke.
Out coached.
Lets put Dave back in the game to jack fade aways from the foul line with no rebounders.
lol, I mean, this isn't a horrible TT team.
Harris leaving the ground before knowing what he wants to do with teh ball has hurt him twice tonight.
I would be most comfortable with Wilson, TGF, Agbaji, Harris and Marcus with a red light, off ball.
When Marcus isn't shooting well DON'T MAKE HIM A VOLUME SHOOTER.
I was gonna say Agbaji was my hawk to rock if he makes his first shot, but i figured that woudl be lame.
Ochai. All day.
This game is offensively foul.
Just let Marcus drive. Gameplan.
My 2 year old bad santa'd my little advent calendar my wife got me. Trashed.
Results in crap shot from Marcus.
Why is Dajuan off ball when they're both in. Why is Marcus bringing it up? I don't get that. let your best handler bring ball up.
Agbaji came to play.
Trash ref. Trash.
Jay Bilas just said "Bill Walton has never been this high" about their seats in the rafters. loool
Well, Harris' shot is fugly.
