Well folks. I didnt think we would go. But. My family and I look forward to this trip every year. And since im confident in my ability to stick with what ive said all year long about this team(no expectations. Only hopes) we will be there to support our team. Im a Jayhawk and I love it. @nuleafjhawk for whatever reason. They dont seem to work for Self and KU the way they do for other teams. Thats Very fair
@wissoxfan83 i agree. First half was not quite like the badball weve been seeing. As far as the 2nd? No question. But honestly, if badball Is gonna have us allowing 47 pts in a half. Im really not interested. And im surprised that Self would be. He eats up defense and we didnt see much of that for the first 13 minutes of half 2 last evening
@Kip_McSmithers i actually could see it happening. Possible. But not probable at this point. But in the end it really doesnt matter. It could even be that the 3 gives us a better matchup. Who knows
@Blown i think the speculation is that the comment itself may have created the current slump behind the arc. I mean. Will we ever know for sure? No. But to use the numbers since the "fools gold" comment. As proof that the comment is true. Is no different than to use it as reason for cause of the slump itself. Both are pure speculation. No question. But also very possible. We cant go back now and wipe that away. No one will ever really know if that in itself diminished the confidence in our shooters and caused the slump. But... Its certainly a very real possibility. Problem is. Theres no time to dwell on what might have been now. Its the dance. Survive and advance. By whatever means possible.
And i do think the change... The badball has at times improved our overall team defense. But has it diminished our offense moreso to the point that its not worth the defensive improvement?

Unfortunately "bad ball" has really not netted(see what I did there? :)) great results as a whole. When you look at the w/l columns. Perhaps it will yield greater returns in the dance . After all. What other hope is there?
@brooksmd we've seen them all play great D though at times. It just looked lazy to me. Or maybe tired. I don't know. But it was obvious who wanted the win more to me. And that's the part that stink . You can take getting beat. As a fan you know it's gonna happen sometime . But like that? That's tough

@Bwag true story. And whether its "nice to say" or not. Im,not capable of giving them a pass for lazy play. I can take most anything as a fan. But not another team flat out playing harder and wanting it more

I just dont know how much more important the game needs to be. Blowing a 17 pt lead in march is tough to swallow. Especially on some pretty lazy play for a big portion of the second half
