Personally. I dont care what the noncon sos was for those years. Cause it had little to zero impact on winning the conference 11 straight years. For anyone to agrue that the streak is diminished due to scheduling is just absurd. We were not in charge of how good the rest of the teams in the conference were anymore than we are now. How ridiculous

@KUSTEVE never know what events are going to transpire to get you where youre going. Perhaps the combo of Lucas Michelson becomes serviceable enough over the next 6 games to take us deep in the dance. Thatll be my hope

Its optimistic. I know. Some or most may even say foolishly. And i get that. But i cant sit in the basement and mope about how bad we are. And neither can the team. Its time to crawl out of the cellar and you can only go up from there. Early in the season i didnt believe it. But i believe it now. There is the talent on this team to do everything i said and more. As @HighEliteMajor said. Theres no reason they shouldnt. Now just go do it. With an attitude of. We Are and We Can and We Will.

Well. I'll tell ya WTH is gonna happen. This team is gonna find itself. Its going on a minimum 8 game win streak. Riding a wave of swagger all the way thru the S16. Winning #11 and a conf tourney title along the way. And why? Why? You ask are they gonna do that? "Based on what Cragar?" "Are you outta your mind?". This team that can't win on the road and poorly dispatched of lowly TCU at home. I don't have an argument for you. Its WTH is gonna happen. Because WE ARE KANSAS!!! I don't need another argument

Whats not to love about the high/low? Whats not To love about playing inside/out. I mean come on. We had 3 "bigs" combine for 3 pts and 8 rebounds. Thats a pretty good line isnt it??? Ugh.....

Truthfully, ive never thought this team was capable of winning the NC. Ever. From day. Before day 1. Although like everyone else im sure, i certainly have that hope. And im certainly in agreement with those that think we need to win it every year. Absoutely we do. Thats what this program must be. That has to be the goal. Every year. No arguments. No questions asked. The end. But im even more greedy. I wanna win everything else too along the way. But i am most certainly willing to trade regular season success for ncaa tourney success. No question about it. And as far as this team goes. I agree with @HighEliteMajor on this. The only shot at winning the NC. If Self is gonna rely on inside/out first and foremost. Cliff has to be the number 2 big. Or number 1 big maybe. Since Ellis is really not a big. But. It maybe and probably is already too late to develop Cliff enough for him to be become the player he'd have to become for that to happen. It may sound debbie downer. But hey. Reality bites. Doesnt mean im not still hoping and pulling for this group. Regardless of how Coach wants to play it
