There is nothing wrong with Charlie Moore - -thing is he just wasn't a fit at KU - lots of players across the Nation like that - -players want the School but just doesn't work. - Example Quentin Grimes - - he was terrible here , does that mean he was a over rated player /no good ? - NO transferred to Houston had a really good Career
Sometimes players just find themselves in a wrong situation or maybe just the wrong time. - Just so happens Charlie was here at the wrong time and then in limited minutes really just didn't show. - Has done really well finally at Miami . I feel pretty sure Charlie will show today - doesn't mean they will win BUT just because things didn't work here that he is over hyphed/ or what ever All kinds of reasons players transfer
Hell look at Jalen L. -not a super player but a very solid player/role player here. - look at where all he has been - -Depaul - Illinois ? - - Iowa State now here. lots of moves - - doesn't mean he isn't a solid player , but to say Charlie is over hyphed and all just not true

@Jethro You underestimate Charlie Moore. All-ACC defensive team, and Honorable Mention All-ACC. 9 assists on Friday to 3 TOs, and actually (at 5' 11") averaging more rebounds (2.7) than TOs (2.1) this season. Everyone other than our disdainful fanbase takes him a lot more seriously.

Quite a few fans are calling for Remy to start and get 35 minutes against Miami. We know that isn't going to happen, but Remy deserves it. Also, lots of fans and writers are talking about Waardenburg and that KU has no answer for his 3s. First, Waardenburg only averages 9 points a game for the season. He does shoot 3s at 42%, so I hope KU defenders at least try to guard him. Waardenburg only took 9 shots in 35 minutes last game and 7 were 3s.
6'5" Sr. McGusty is on a hot streak scoring 27 against IState. McGusty averages 18 points a game and hits 36% from 3.
One thing to note, Miami had 0 bench points last game. Only 3 bench players were in the game for a total of 17 minutes and only took 4 shots. Their starting 5 is who KU worries about. Yes, there will be a lot of attention by the media on Charlie. I sure hope Charlie stays the Charlie we know and doesn't become a hero today. Query: Will Ochai and/or Braun break out of their slumps and give us a chance today?
Hopefully Christan AND Ochai BOTH show up today - - all hands on deck -- Ochai just needs to see the ball go through the hole a couple of times early , think he is missing a little confidence right now. - Get a couple to drop - you will see Oach that played so well throughout the year
Guys just a little FYI , a couple of pretty cool little short video clips from the WIBW web site while covering KU in the tourney one is - -the video talks ell Oachi talks about how this years team is playing for the 2020 team it has Devon Dotson in it and Oach talking about this year teams tourney run is for them
Then they have a short video clip about how KU has this rug they take with them and /or had it in the locker room , they have had it for 20 years kind of a superstitious rug/ good luck thing really cool hearing about it - -you guys ought to check these out pretty cool off WIBW

Actually the 1st half of this game looks a lot like the first half of our game last night. - -Neither team can throw it in the Ocean , just feel Villanova should be up big , but just like KU having hard time making shots

I'm back in worry mode.
I'm glad we advanced... but last night should have been a blowout.
I am thankful we have a group that doesn't freak out when punched in the face... and this has saved us all year long and again last night.
But here we were... a BAD BALL game... slugfest down to the wire. Maybe we can win 3 more games like this... I just don't see this as the best strategy to go.
I think we influenced pace last night because we seemed happy keeping it slow. Self had given us a headsup mentioning BAD BALL before this game.
I see we are capable of winning a slow or a fast game, or a game with it being mixed. I get that... and we have made it this far. I'm grateful.
From here on out are we just going to run mostly halfcourt offense?
Can we go ahead and plan that Och isn't going to be a real factor on offense from here on out? Has he ever put up big offensive numbers in March Madness? Are you really an "All-America" if you never step up in March? I don't care if he goes 2-24 in a game... put up the damn shots, son!
I appreciate Wilson's game yesterday... He never stopped fighting on both sides of the ball. But I'm calling us "The University of Remy" from here on out!
So how come we can't have a successful Remy, CB, Och and David in the same game? It just looks like they're coasting. I heard about Self constantly pleading with them to man-up!
Wilson doesn't count on being hot or cold... he just hustles and that gives him a double-double.
I hope we luck out and continue to draw low seeds. Not likely in the FF. I have little doubt in this Miami game... 38 minutes of whatever... it all comes down to the last 2 minutes and I hope we shine at the end!

If KU goes to the Final Four, the semi final game will be a bad ball game regardless if it's Houston or Villanova because those two teams play at a snails pace. Miami could very well be another rock fight game because they're not super quick, not as slow as Providence but definitely not a fast team. They also don't shoot a bunch of 3's and don't turn the ball over much so KU may not have a lot of opportunities to get out an run.
I think I saw a stat in their game with Iowa State that in their first two game Miami hd only turned the ball over THREE TIMES
