@BeddieKU23 💯, I didn’t even watch expecting us to get our butts kicked. The lack of athletic ability has been on show a lot thus far, we will struggle in the conference I think.

The chiefs have a major issue with catching the ball, continuing to lead the league in that category. They said on the radio this morning that drop number is the highest in over 10 years for the first 11 weeks of season. Fans have seen saying all year, Reid said they were fine at the position before the trade deadline and it couldn’t be a more a BS comment.

This game isn’t game I expected us to play well in, dealing with KJs mom’s passing and such. Realistically if we cut a few turnovers and make some open shots, it’s an absolute massacre.

I guess when I said we could play like garbage and still win by 20 the guys took it to heart.

@FarmerJayhawk Well they weren’t very good for so long. Add in the fact KU is playing a team they beat by 20 if they play terribly.

I don’t disagree with this assessment, I feel like college sports have gone down hill ever since the OAD era started in CBB. The transfer portal is pretty much a free agency where players will go to the highest bidder. Now we all know guys have gotten paid for decades before most of us were born. But it wasn’t the insane amounts it is now.

@nuleafjhawk I always joke about how you and I are the same person on different accounts. I’m just a little more obnoxious admittedly. I feel the same way as you do, that is the worst football loss arguably in my lifetime. Only two that compare is Mizzou in 07 or 09. It the fact that it was such high stakes to beat a team for the first time in 14 years and the last game in our current stadium. I honestly didn’t expect to compete the way we did but that makes it worse from the stand point, when is the next time we control the game versus them? With the Johnson Kid at QB for them next season and on the road hard for me to believe we will even be competitive. Add in JDs continued health issues and it’s a no from me, just being realistic.

@rockchalkjayhawk Ballard played good enough to win IMO. The first pick was a silly throw, second pick Re watching it, he should tried to run but really didn’t have a ton of great options on that play call.

He has t made it thru a season here, I’m honestly worried we take a step back next season.

That’s what makes it so different than T-Robs, we weren’t half a world away in Hawaii. Coach Self I’m sure has given KJ the green light to do whatever he feels.

@AsadZ We do play them every year for sure. I’ll be honest, the Johnson kid they got scares the crap outta me, he already as good as Howard. My heart hurts for Jason and how much he had put into this program. My guess is he didn’t practice much or well this week.
