@jayhawks2010 sadly Timberlake was touted as the best shooter in the portal and he just isn’t. I think Furphy, Elmarko and McDowell are the keys to this team. If this team had an Ochai and/or Braun type that can drive, play above the rim and hit jumpers. This team would be ungodly good. We could be a better team without KJ on the floor as much as I love that kid.

But my gosh that is a terrible basketball player, sorry to say but truthful imo. Especially when you figure he’s played at the D1 level for this long, arguably the biggest recruit miss of the Self era.

Nothing like a dentist trip at 7 pm on a Tuesday. Probably a combination of jet lag and looking ahead to Friday. Most of them are guys that aren’t playing so not really a surprise. Johnson looks like the next big thing at the QB position in this conference. I’d compare him to Kyler Murray.

I honestly don’t think Mahomes the problem in the slightest. Still top 5 in every statistical category with his team leading the NFL in drops. Does he have some high risk throws, maybe some that aren’t intelligent..,yes. But always had that. If guys could catch he’s probably the leading MVP candidate right now. Add about 250 yards and 4 TDs, plus taking away 2 or 3 picks.
@mayjay Yes the orange bowl was after the new year and the insight bowl was New Year’s Eve.
@jayballer67 Guaranteed Rate Bowl is the Insight bowl renamed. We won in it 2008 with MM, would be against a big 10 opponent likely Northwestern or Wisconsin. It’s fun to not know for sure where we will end up, believe they announce next Sunday. I just don’t want to go back to the Liberty Bowl because we barely went 6-6 last season. We are a much better team this season going 8-4 despite QB woes. I would like to see us rewarded for that.
I keep hearing Liberty bowl or Texas Bowl against A&M or Auburn. I’d rather not go back to the Liberty Bowl again but don’t really care as long as we win. I’d rather play A&M that Auburn personally.

That’s a nice way to end a season friends. We have been playing football for over 130 years, this is just the 15th 8 plus win season in program history. Great team win, Bean and Neal were on tonight making it a lot of fun to watch. Let’s make this a special year and go get a bowl win!!! RCJH
