@JayHawkFanToo Guns, Texting while driving, KU football.
All things I've pretty much thrown in the towel on. First of all, you're absolutely right.
We had this discussion on another thread a LONG time ago, but I"ll rehash. It's not so much the guns, obviously, it's how they're used and how they're ..... tolerated. One year not too long ago, we (The U.S.) had more gunshot deaths in the first HOUR of whatever year it was than Canada had the whole previous year. That's just sad. But kudos to the Canadians for having sense enough not to kill each other all day and for dealing with the few problems they did have. This is the United States. It is our right to kill anybody we want and the government is ok with it. (deep breath).
I'm not talking about hunters. I used to enjoy stomping through nature and blasting a deer's heart and lungs out, then gutting it and cutting it's head off and hanging it on my wall as much as the next guy. Nothing at all wrong with a little good natured hunting.
I'm talking about the guy that has an AK-47 in the gunrack of his pickup truck "just in case". Just in case he runs into an army of angry militant soldiers? ??
Sorry to get carried away. I'm fairly frustrated with everyone in this country killing each other and nobody (in government) really seems to give a crap.
