Meanwhile, Washburn just finished off West Texas A&M in four sets. Headed to the D-II Final Four. Congrats to the Ichabods.

Meanwhile, I noticed that there's another team from Kansas in the D-II tournament. Washburn leads West Texas 2-0 in their quarterfinal match. One set away from the Final Four.
BMac had a pretty good game defensively against the Warriors, on a night when all the media spotlight was on Curry trying to break the 3-point record. Nice to see him get more minutes. I'll have to pay more attention to the Blazers now that my local cable carries all their games.
Got to sharpen up our shooting too. 53 percent from the field tonight, but a lot of those were dunks.

Regional is at Pittsburgh. First semi is sixth-seeded Purdue vs. #11 BYU at 10 AM Central, followed by KU-Pitt. Match is on ESPN + . Winners play Saturday 3 PM CST.
Final Four is in Columbus at Nationwide Arena on Thursday the 16th. Championship match is the following Saturday starting at 6:30 Central on ESPN.

Back when everybody else was building those round, cookie-cutter multipurpose stadiums (stadia?), KC built two of 'em that fit each sport perfectly.
And where are all those other stadiums today? Imploded! I can only think of one that's even standing, the Astrodome, and that's been idle for years.

Another win today, 74-67 over Vanderbilt. 7 and 1 record so far, with their only loss against nationally ranked Tennessee. Hope they can keep it up in conference play.
Agree on the Institute. First toured it just after the opening. Impressive.
When I was a kid he came to one of our church socials to press the flesh. Even though I rarely agreed with him politically, I appreciated the fact that he was able to at least listen to the other side. Also liked his sense of humor. We need more like him on both sides of the aisle.
