We do have to worry about our big guy though. His coach said he plays with such reckless abandon. I mean, he goes all out, every single minute they give him out there.

@Lulufulu Listened to Bill Self interviewed by Doug Gottlieb today. He was talking about Joel with someone at a hall of fame induction ceremony in recent years and told the person that if Joel stays healthy he will be inducted in about 20 years. The person gave him a look like come on, you're his biased coach, and Bill said 'trust me'.
Annoyingly Gottlieb then has to close the interview with a question about Svi travelling at the end of the KSU game. Self said the play happened so fast he didn't see it and isn't surprised that the officials didn't see it, again as it was happening so fast. Gottlieb kind of doubted him and Bill basically ended the interview.

@drgnslayr I listened to JNews podcast yesterday and we lead the nation in some geeky stat that basically is scoring efficiency in the first 10 seconds of a possession. And it's not a stat that says we're run n gun, just a stat that shows how when we push it, we are the best there is.
And then I think back to our last game of 2015-16 season and how Villanova totally disrupted our first 10-15 seconds of the possession. If I was a coach facing us, I'd watch video of that game until I'd memorized every play.

You could argue, I suppose, and say ESPN is in the business of making money and since most eyes and dollars are east of here, then that's what they're going to do. I normally love games telecast on CBS but Saturday afternoons in Louisiana they air SEC games on the local CBS affiliate meaning we don't get to watch here. Grrr....

I was at AFH in 88 when KState and Mitch Richmond ended our 50 some game home court streak. When it looked inevitable we were going to lose, many fans began leaving. We in the student section began chanting at them "Don't come back!"
ISU missed a lot of wide open looks. Glad they weren't falling.

Went to LSU-Bama basketball game the other day. Walked in at game time and moved right down to courtside seats. Pitiful SEC basketball. Avery Johnson was fun to watch coach, but that's about all I can say was good about the afternoon.
