@wissox I got 94 out of 150. Won't mention names I missed in case anyone else is going to do it. But there were a whole lot of duh, I should have remembered that one.
@dylans I'm the same way. I do a lot of fun quizzes at sporcle and doing Jayhawk themed quizzes is surprisingly challenging when trying to name starters on even like the 2008 NC team. Here's a sample quiz. Sporcle is awesome by the way.

@mayjay If you watch the video it sure appears his foot is being intentionally thrust down at Tyler.
@Crimsonorblue22 Uh, Dickinson flattened Tyler Wahl. Dickinson then tripped over Tyler. No way if you click on the tweet I linked you could think he tripped Dickinson.
@Crimsonorblue22 I'm sorry, I'm trying to figure out what you mean?
@Texas-Hawk-10 Yeah if I have a problem with Gard is that he doesn't get fired up sometimes. Even knocking down Wahl there was a foul and it wasn't called. Oh well another brutal loss in a long season for my other team.
@Eric-san Lots of perch fishermen at steelworkers park these days.
This happened today without a foul called, replay review, nothing. And this is the guy that called Wisconsin scumbags.

@Eric-san Which harbor?
1st Place, all by our selves where we rightfully belong
The dude can kick the ball out of someones hands?
Why's Issel wearing KU?
uh oh
Bench still stuck on 3 points. Looked like bench production was picking up but this week it's been down.

55% shooting today so far, doesn't really feel like it.
Fran acts like a 7 year old and no T, Bill gets T-d for ....?
I coulda been like @Eric-san making bets a month ago betting KU is going to win the conference outright this year. I'da made some money on a bet like that. I wish I could find a week by week progression of standings and see where we were a month ago.
Fran is such a clown. He thinks he's being bobby knight or coach k tough on them but he just looks stupid when he's mad.
That's the worst of the offensive foul calls this game.

caitlin Clark is the biggest flopper since Smart at OSU
These calls are offensive
@Eric-san I can guarantee you he won't have 6.5 assists!
@Eric-san I mean I hope he gets 10 more, but why 5 more?

Some strange officiating recently
After seemingly a months worth of high stakes games against super tough opponents we have a relative breather today against a team 'only' 20th in the kenpom ranking
1 ranked Houston got a toughie with East Carolina tonight....
I think these gym class looking uni's maybe need to go to Goodwill after the game.
@kjayhawks said in $25,000 Game Thread:
@wissox I think itβs hard for the average fan to afford to go to more than 1 or 2 a year.
I always thought Dan was above average!
@DanR Only 2nd game? Oh poor suffering Jayhawk fan!
@Texas-Hawk-10 That really good offense is struggling against good D's. 6-52 on 3 pointers this week. A first round matchup between Iowa and Kentucky would be good TV and one of three least favorite college teams would be eliminated on day 1!
Why we talking Gradey in "Other Games"?
Guys have come back for more college. It's not unheard of. Not everyone chases the almighty dollar. I know it's a risk, but should the unthinkable happen, a guy with his stature in this state will work for the rest of his life in a lot of places. I don't think he's gonna be hurting. Plus he's making money now with NIL and will continue to do so. NIL is a game changer for guys staying in school I'd think.
I'd also think the whole KU experience is worth coming back for. It's really possible you'll not exceed it the rest of your basketball career in the NBA. Go in the draft and end up playing pro in a place like Sacramento or Minneapolis, or Detroit? Or play in the greatest arena in basketball as the BMOC? Sure money will help you comfortably live in each of those places, but the experience of playing in Lawrence? I'm betting he sticks.
I'm hoping it's a BIG 12 Final Four. The Big East put three there in 1985 when Villanova famously beat Georgetown. St. Johns played in that
final four also, and Houston was there with Phi Slamma Jamma. Those were, in my opinion, starting with Bird-Magic heady days in NCAA basketball. Most guys played 3-4 years. MJ, Patrick Ewing, Olajuwan, Mullin, Drexler, the epic 1983 upset with NCState, Keith Smart game winner and of course the greatest of all when we won it all with Danny the Great. Glen Rice, then UNLV and Duke played an epic FF before Duke wins back to back including their win over us after we beat Dean Smith in the FF. Duke, UNC and us in the final four? Where have we heard that before?
Gradey never won a ring like his teammates. He might want one himself and next year could bring back the same team with another chance if they don't win it this year.
Good work by the way, and a good case can be made for Texas Tech being in too despite their horrendous start in league play.
B12 doesn't have as much pressure seeing as they won the last two titles and probably win the covid year as well meaning 3 in a row.
This is a classic definition of a flop. Flop tech was awarded on this. This dude was trying so hard to draw a charge call he forgot that if he falls down the shooter will be wiiiiiiidddddddeeeeee open!

Iowa goes 3-27 against Badgers and only scores 52 points. Fran spent a timeout with his team down 10 and 4 minutes left arguing with the refs instead of coaching his team.
1 rated Houston gets to play Tulane tonight, then East Carolina, Wichita and some other stiff. They did beat 2nd ranked Virginia a long time ago, the same Virginia getting blown out by BC tonight. If we played their schedule we might actually be undefeated.
2 Alabama gets a stiff test from USCarolina tonight. (sarcasm font) SEC teams get easy games after easy games. Bama to their credit scheduled non-conf strongly so their schedule is top 10, but nowhere near our #1 schedule.
Meanwhile we've played 9 games against teams with numbers next to their names since the beginning of January. So has every other B12 team.
@BeddieKU23 Pretty sure Bill Walton had a 22-23 game once in a National Championship. Amazing, but obviously not 22 in a row. Some guy in 2016 from Yale set the record of 30 in a row.
Udeh has not missed a shot since November. Limited minutes, but 104 minutes in that timespan and he's 20-20.
Tonights OU-TTU tilt is the last scheduled Big 12 game of the season that doesn't feature at least one ranked team. March 4 is the last day of scheduled games. The Big 12 is tough.
@BeddieKU23 That list shows how tough our league has been. There's no team there that we've absolutely owned.
@BeddieKU23 Wow! I wonder if Fran noticed that?
@Crimsonorblue22 Yeah, but I hate to say it, I never really thought Jalen was going to be a professional even with this years strong showing.
@Kcmatt7 13 rebounds. 3 assists, 3-11 shooting is not the worst ever. He got hampered by some bogus foul calls and never found any rhythm. I don't think we win without him tonight.
This team isn't lucky, this team made defensive plays all night. That's how they won this game.
