Before Perry got hurt last year, we found out that getting him the ball on the outside with a chance to create against a big was what had him in front for POY. If they don't come out to guard him, he will take the unguarded three. If Diallo is here, a smorgasbord of offense will be unleashed from all of the Big 3. Mason is the Boss, but Selden and Ellis will be the scorers. Perry and Wayne are happy, very happy to let Frank stir the drink. Fool's Gold was last year, let's please be done with it and the conspiracy theories of who was lying and who sabotaged our team.
They picked a bad year in their basketball program to let this happen.

Hope that Jeff brings her to the Field House during the All Star weekend. They can sit next to Olivia and Jason.
Hef gave Kennedy this car for winning Playmate of the year. Look's like they'll have to take Jeff's car when going out to diner.
A Footer with a Hooter.
Yeah, most people get the magazine for the articles.
Could this be a recruiting tool, like the Colorado football team or like Ray Allen in HE GOT GAME?
Here is his girlfriend on the cover of another magazine.
Sorry Crimson and Blue. I didn't know you already posted this of Jeff.
I'll Stop at the grocery store tomorrow morning and pick up my pre-season Bible for the coming year. !image.jpg ↗

I know that some of you blog brothers are members of the William's Fund and I think it is great the way you support our team and donate for the new Basketball dorm and all of the other contributions you have given to my favorite team. All I ask is that you take me with you to Maui and find someone to run my store for me. I promise not to drink all of the champagne or embarrass anyone with my Hula skills.

@jaybate-1.0 Feeling somewhat esoteric today?
K State will be the worst this year and you are probably right about Tennessee. Vanderbilt hasn't proven anything yet.
We should only have two team's lose, Tech and K-State.
In regards to Greene, He and his girlfriend were having lunch and Brannon parked in a handicap zone with his sign in the back window given to him after his surgery. A troll followed them into the restaurant took pictures of them and their food and bitched about the parking. Her tweet was taken down by the track star girlfriend but the final portion he posted is here. Don't mess with BG's GF.
Kurtis posted this photo on Twitter saying "Only 45 days until "Late Night."
For the last two years, I have gone to neighborhood bars to watch most of the first month of KU Basketball. Sitting in a crowded smoke filled room to watch my team and sometimes leaving at half time because the screen were switched to Kareoke videos, has all been inconvenient, costly and frustrating.
I have bitched about the over 50% of KC that does not have TWC and the incredible unfairness of Western Kansas which does not even have a choice because TWC has not been available.
After seeing the above picture posted by Coach Townsend, I gave in, I can't do it anymore. I must admit some things have changed for me to break down and accept Time Warner into my household -
-
My DTV contract expires on the last day of this month, saving me $200.00 to be able to make the switch.
-
Time Warner got rid of it's contracts.
-
I already had TWC Internet and WiFi at a regular speed for $40.00 per month, and even though I have to get a $10.00 phone I won't use, I will get 200 channels, a jillion times faster internet, and most important, Metro Sport which will show the 9 games. All of this will be $4o.00 a month cheaper than what I was paying for DTV. I will truly miss DTV. They were good to me.
-
The main reason I switched was the picture above and the thought of missing even 1/2 of a game to Kareoke.
This deal that ZENGER made is indeed good for all of the Jayhawks around the world that have TWC, but it has been horrible for fans from Kansas and the KC Metro area that support the home team that they love but have been unable to watch at least a third of the games.
@elpoyo So what should the thought process be for all of us "stupid Heads" during the Conference season? Every year, someone wants us to forget about winning the Conference saying that it doesn't matter, or where we get seeded doesn't matter. Is there a strategy to losing certain games to assure us of a National Championship. Why not enjoy the ride and forget about being a permanent "Second Guesser."
Are you saying that you want a National Championship more than the rest of us on this site and that you have a way to do this that Self doesn't know about? Is it the team's fault or the fan's fault for wanting to compete in a conference and be the best. Pick the games you want us to lose and explain why.
What incredible depth we will have with Lucas, Hunter, Bragg and Vick. All of these guys will play and the defense can take a lot more chances with fewer worries. Maybe West Virginia can run with us, but no one in the Big 12 will have our depth.
What is a better lineup? Svi, Perry, Wayne, Frank and Devonte or Alternating Frank and Devonte and going with a big man? Bill will have to have the rebounding, so probably one of the point guards will have to sit.
When have we ever had this kind of luxury since 2008. I hope Diallo make's this decision moot.
This will be a good fit with more playing time.
The leader of the team stands in front. Do what she says and this will be a fantastic year.
With Sasha signing a 2 year deal with the Cavs, the 2008 National Champions had a great Coach and 7 players play in the NBA. It made me wonder what the other 2 teams were able to use to achieve their milestone.
1988 - Witchcraft, a great coach that the players ignored when told not to run with OU, and an incredible player in Danny Manning. Witchcraft is the only explanation for Clint Normore.
1952 - Great Coach, A gentle giant named Clyde who turned into a mean player on the court and the inventor of the "Sky Hook." Clyde ended his career at KU becoming a 3 time First team All American. 7 players and Coach Allen were chosen to be on the U.S. Olympic team. They all received Gold Medals for being Olympic Champions.
Does anyone know if the guy diving into the top of this pile has been scrimmaging at top speed yet?
Also notice, Half of KC and all of Western Kansas will have to listen on the radio for 8 games this year.

Full schedule released today.
We could lose in Hawaii.
We could lose at San Diego State.
We could lose at West Virginia.
We could lose at Iowa State.
But, I kinda doubt it.
@jaybate-1.0
Six days on the road and I'm gonna make it home tonight...
Many of us on this site used to play basketball and some of us made the team because of our height. As a teenager I used to love to fly to new places and I was thrilled when the Cute flight attendant asked me if I'd like a cocktail. I was under age and I asked ask for the most adult drink I could think of, so I confidently said, "I'll have a martini." It tasted nasty, but the second one tasted good.
Happy flying ended after 911 and being 6'4", flights became cramped and unappealing.

I want to stay positive about Diallo. Since he is from Mali, since he likes to BALL, Change Miss to Mister and we find out that Little Richard is a Jayhawk fan.
@justanotherfan He doesn't recruit the slow plodding players, but his most important player this year, Ridley, is a slow plodding player.
Baylor will be good and so will West Virginia.
Nooner was a walk on and was given a scholarship his senior year.
Conner Teahan was a walk on.
Moody was a walk on.
I'm sure his enrollment in summer school at KU has been designed to take care of any unachieved goals in his transcripts.
