I heard on the radio the Trae Missed 39 shots in the last two games. This makes OU sound like one of those mid-majors that has the D1 scoring leader that can't do anything else. Similar to when we played Detroit in a first round game. I think these last two games has given Bill an accurate game plan for tomorrow night.

Another zone team where Vick will have to decide to turn around and shoot a short jumper from the free throw line or pass. Forget about Washington and ASU. I think we will have a parade for the "Mitch-Slapper" after this one.
OK Mitch, no pressure, but the entire season now rest on your shoulders. Holly asked Mitch once about being yelled at this year by Coach Self and does it bother him?. "No, last year I didn't get to play and he never yelled at me."
I played Basketball with Number 31, Bruce Sloan. He was a Senior at my high school and I was a Junior. I sat on the bench when he was scoring 40 points. Bruce who played the post in high school, later became the shooting guard in the starting lineup at KU. I watched with awe, seeing Jo Jo for the first time. There was no three point line or shot clock. He could guard anyone and no one could guard him. He wasn't a behind the back-between the legs ball handler but simply the perfect point guard.
I was able to meet him when I was in my 40's and talk basketball with him. He was very proud to be a Jayhawk and a Celtic.

Next year we go back to being "Big Man U."
Some of the losses to good teams were without the 7 footer.
