It all comes down to guard play. Their 4 guards are significantly better then KU's. It's just reality. Hopefully we can force them to play bad. Big "pride" game tonight

It will take a monster effort from our guys with total focus. If they can do that we have a chance. I haven't seen our offense handle real pressure well all year. What happens when the perimeter is well-guarded? Our guys haven't shown they are far along enough to take advantage of what defenses give. Tight perimeter pressure? Try feeding the David in the low post. Try driving the ball and pushing contact and fouls. Try setting high ball screens, off-ball screens. Try shot, ball and direction fakes. There are opportunities available no matter what they face, but that have to realize what they are and execute.

I'm thinking our ability to take care of the rock will be a huge deciding factor in this game. Along with FG%.

about the ONE thing that will help tonight if anything - -not having to play in a packed arena. this is not a good match up mis matches in multiple spots, i like my boys BUT who really thinks with the way we have played so inconsistent erratic who all here thinks we win this game ? - -Sorry to say not me. Our shooting % sucks last I checked 44 % really low for a Bill Self team. game going to be to fast for Dave tonight I think not much of a factor, going to be another case of being out athleted.. - - Who knows maybe get a break

Baylor's defense has looked the best. They actually make the game boring to watch because of their defense.

If KU doesn't stop them from getting good looks from 3 and on offense doesn't make at least 50% of their shots I don't see this going our way. Guys have to make shots and make them at a high level. Rebounds and turnovers are the next biggest keys

If we can get Scott Drew REALLY involved in the X's and O's and not let his players just play - we have a pretty good shot.

It's been a while since Smart was playing so my memory forgets sometimes about him but I haven't been irked by a player's antics as much as Vital since Smart. Seen about 6-7 Baylor games this year and its the same crap every single game and its rewarded. He's 240 pounds of muscle and falls like a flapjack. I think he got a flop warning in the Tech game on a basket. Haven't seen many refs use their power to stop him.

He got warned and maclung both got the flop warning. First I've seen this year in college.

He really shouldn’t be getting run on this team because of its makeup. He’s a good role player, not a 40 minutes per game guard with a large usage rate.

I'm watching this game just to better appreciate how we might be next season.

Baylor rhymes with failure. They look great tonight, kudos to them. But with all of the talent this team has had every year this century, they've not even sniffed the final 4. They've made the elite 8 a couple of times but then get blown out. I'd love to get in the face of their ignorant fans and tell them to shut their mouths until they actually win something. But they won't. Scott can recruit, but coaching, he's a bit weak. Our weakest team in quite some time, really challenged them tonight. Made them sweat a bit. Screw Baylor.

I had no illusions about us winning the game. Infact, I thought that it would be a double-digit 17 to 20 point beatdown. The best that we can do this year is 2nd in the conference, at best. We have serious scoring issues and at times damn near non-existant post play
