Why do people do such things?

I thought the craziest thing was the idea of this family living off of one bowling coaches salary lol.

And then the idea that the guy was coaching unofficially for awhile.

AND THEN the school attempting to circumvent nepotism laws by having the associate bowling coach “report” to someone other than the head bowling coach.

There are at least 3 people who should lose their jobs here. If not more.

“I knew it was kind of a no-no, but there’s not a rule saying it can’t happen,” Steve Lemke said. “There’s not a law saying I’m going to go to jail for doing something like this. There’s nothing in stone. I guess it’s just an ethics code, like we frown upon it, but there’s no rule, there’s no law broken.”

Mark it down, Bucketeers. This ol man is speechless.

Nacogdoches is a small town. I don't know specifically what her contract was, but likely enough to love off of in a town that size in the middle of East Texas which has a pretty low cost of living.

Surprised I'm not seeing many references to Tyler Summit (son of Tennessee legend Pat Summit who did the same. He was cheating on his wife while an assistant coach at Marquette with a freshman player, then got the Louisiana Tech job and the girl transferred to follow which raised eyebrows and was known by players and school administration before being made public knowledge. It split the team, Tyler got divorced and ended up marrying the girl he was cheating with.

Sounds like they are going to split.

This is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve read in awhile thanks for sharing @BShark. This guy seems like an all time tool bag.

And in a couple of years, the husband will be married to the girl he's having the affair if history has taught us anything about these types of situations.
