How the is the B12 doing?
Dec 04, 2016 05:35 PM #1

Every one was in action yesterday on the hardwood besides Texas and ISU. Wvu got a huge road win against Virginia. Baylor got a win at home against Xavier, Baylor is #1 in RPI. OSU lost by one point at Maryland while leading most of the way. Maryland must still be searching only beating KSU and OSU by the slimiest of margins. TCU moved to 8-0 with a win at home against Arkansas State. They are currently a top 10 RPI team. OU got spanked in the second half and lost bye 20 to Wisconsin when they were up at the half and by 4 with 16 minutes to go. TT squeaked by Rice by a point at home. KSU went on the road to visit our old buddy Travis Ford in St. Louis, and won bye 30. I'm sure their tails are wagging thinking they are great lol.

@kjayhawks don't forget Texas beat Alabama last night they are 4-3 now. It Looks to me like Baylor going to be a stiff challenge, west Virginia got a big win yesterday Oklahoma St might be a little better time to tighten up and let get it on lol - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@jayballer54 That actually was on Friday. I could've put it in tho. Bama stinks but a win for texas of any kind was good.

@kjayhawks I didn't see the game, but WVU winning at UVA was impressive. I think KSU will be tougher than most of us thought......at least at home. DJ Johnson has played well. I believe ISU will be tough again.........even though they did not appear to play any defense against Gonzaga. But they will be hard to beat, as always, at Hilton. OSU with Evans, with their new coach....will be improved. Baylor.....very impressive so far. My guess is they will be the same team we've seen.....talented and capable of beating anybody on any given night... but inconsistent due to not so great coaching. They're big guys scare me though....with the way our front line has been playing.

The big 12 is just as good as last year as a whole. I think we can secure a one seed if we win the conference regular season and tournament. WVU picked up a great win yesterday, but that is not the same Virginia team as last year - last year WVU got smoked at Madison Square Garden by Virginia. ISU, again, is primarily a jump shooting team but they are playing very good defense this year, more so than in previous years. Baylor will be the toughest challenge this year - if our bigs figure out how to defend without fouling, I think a W at Waco is a real possibility.

@Ralph

This will make it extra sweet when we beat Baylor.

@HawkChamp that's a pretty big "if"!

@Hawk8086 Agreed we always have trouble in Ames and Manhattan.

@HawkChamp I highly doubt the B12 gets 7 teams again this year. I think you see us and Baylor, maybe WVU. Then a bunch of question marks who everyone else is.

@Crimsonorblue22 I don't think they are a great club but with Underwood their we will have to battle no question in Stillwater.
