Probably as frustrated as I've been with a 5 point lead. Lazy defense, got beat up the floor continuously for the first 17 minutes then had an 11 point lead trimmed to 5 in less than 45 seconds. Too late in the season these mental lapses.

@HawkChamp I think the effort got better but we came out with zero fire besides josh with his head up his butt. If I'm Self I tell him one more one hand missed dunk, that he averages 1 or 2 a game, he's out for several minutes.

Vick's head is not in this game. Need to limit his time unless absolutely necessary. Svi seems to be on today.

I'm putting in Coleby before Bragg if I'm self, he plays harder and is so much tougher.

This is why Coleby should play over Bragg this tournament. Nothing flashy, just goes out, plays solid defense, rebounds, and gets easy putbacks when he can. He does his job much better than Bragg does.

Mike Anderson is their coach, so it's probably a good guess they run a 4 and 1 line up like he did at Missouri.

Does Franks recent FG% drop hurt his POY chances? He was at 52% from the floor and 50% from 3 til a few weeks ago. His 3 % should still be 46% but floor % is probably around 45% after today. Obviously winning the NC is the main goal and I don't care what his numbers are as long as we advance but would be nice to get a POY for the first time since Danny Manning.

Just watching the replay, looks like Bridges thought Mason have him the stinger in the beginning then Bridges tried to return the favor on the inbounds. First half.

@chriz CBS showed a replay of when Bridges pulled the muscle in his side while rebounding or blocking. It didn't have anything to do with Mason. Bridges had a couple of cheap shots during the game. CBS showed the intentional shoulder bump with Josh too.

@approxinfinity Did you hang around to watch the next play which was the steal and outlet pass from BIFM to DG and the ally-oop to Svi? Didn't realize how much of a flyer Svi is.

@brooksmd Yup, that was a nice play too. Once we started getting out in transition in the UC game, Svi relaxed completely, and has been confident ever since. I think getting out and running gets him out of his head and making the play in transition just comes naturally. He's had some games where his shot was off and he seemed to obsess over it, becoming one dimensional. There was another play where he followed up a missed 3 the next possession by driving the ball and scoring. I'm glad he scored it because I think he was trying to find a way to contribute after the missed 3, and the drive looked a little forced. But this transition stuff is completely instinctual/natural.
