Kansas beats KSU, OU beats TCU and now Tech has just upset WVU. All very close and entertaining games. ISU is currently up on Baylor, who has fallen to new lows this season.Chris Beard my early pick for National Coach of the year.

Yes. All good games. Tech did what it had to do...win on its home floor. Logjam...

Down goes WVU and we have have a 4 way tie for first like I posted we might.

@JayHawkFanToo sets up Monday to be even bigger. Baylor is now up bye a slim margin, do we start talking coaching changes in Waco if Drew isn’t able to go dancing this year? (Long way to go but he’s failed with some high talented folks both in the b12 and NCAAs). How bout if ISU goes 0-5 with 3 loses in Hilton?

Also Wake was spanked once again at the hands of Dook and now have a 8-9 record. Is the clock ticking on him? Hate to see him fail but would love for him to come work with Doke.

@kjayhawks he resigned a nice contract last year

Jan 13, 2018 11:14 PM #8

@Crimsonorblue22 yes but if he only wins 10 games he very easily could be fired.

Jan 13, 2018 11:18 PM #9

@kjayhawks he would still get a lot of money

Wake does care about basketball so he might have a short leash at this point. He is recruiting well so he could get another year. Not sure he'd come back to KU. Also who would get the ax? It can't be Jerrance he brought in Grimes, Big Dave and maybe Romeo too.

I do agree though that we miss the work he did with our bigs.

All the hooplah, and Jamie Dixon and TCU are 1-4 in the league. It's a tough league I get it but they were projected to finish 2nd in the league by some. Eventually you gotta win some dang games.

Michigan state struggling. Lost to OSU last sunday, needed OT against Rutgers and lost today to Michigan.

Dixon/TCU got Trae’d!! That kid is something, I’ll root for him whenever he isn’t facing KU. Must admit its a bit more special he stayed to play for his home team. We’ll see what Self cooks up to slow him down

Let it be noted that my stance on him has always been the same: wait and see. He never really did anything great at Pitt.

He is better than what they had though and their recruiting is on an uptick.

Danny has a solid recruiting class coming in. I think that's as big a reason for his extension as anything. I believe he will be given a couple more years to see how that class pans out.

@BShark

I agree. I said let’s wait until he finishes in the top half before we anoint him the next best thing. A 3 point win against Baylor is its only conference win, the rest are agains weak competition.

@JayHawkFanToo and Baylor choked that game away. They had the ball and the lead with a min to play and did a typical drew implosion.
