@Hawk8086 Agreed - same Point that I was making in another thread - reason that our 3pt% has come down (plummeted) is that the shots we are taking are forced and contested. Virtually no rapid ball movement around the perimeter, skip passes or penetration and kick-out to get really open looks...

Offense takes a hit, but we rebound better and protect the rim better with Lightfoot in. Lightfoot is also far superior to Doke setting screens. KU's comeback against Baylor also happened with Lightfoot playing after Doke got his 4th and was extended by Baylor when Doke came back in.

What Mitch really has going for him is that he is smart. That helps so much under Self.
So far, so good. KU up by 5, OU up by 1 at half time. Scores were almost identical until the last few seconds.
KU has these dunks in January or February every year, but we usually have bigger lead when they hit and they don’t last this many games.
He knows how to break 'em down before he builds them up. Starting line-up restored tonight.

One random observation - had Sam and Silvio in the game at the same time for the last 2 minutes of the half and the world didn't come to an end, we didn't implode, and didn't give up a lead. Have played 9 guys so far. Maybe try this again some time, Bill, and lessen foul trouble and freshen legs...

Those V day palps are healthy and usually end with a win win or net net...My wife loves it win KU wins, because she 'wins.' It's a really bad day when they lose.
She's a Poke, and I win either way when KU and OSU plays.
Ok Jayhawk Nation, one game and win at a time. Let's take it and move on to sweep wvu in the Phog.
Half way through the second half KU had 3 fouls and ISU 4 for the half, next time I checked KU had 8 and ISU only 4. A 5-1 foul calls favoring ISU, no wonder Newman fouled out. Also, a couple of the fouls on Lightfoot should have been charges instead of blocks. Even with all the ISU fouls at the end KU was called for 20 and ISU for 18. I don’t want to hear anyone saying KU gets the calls.
