Will Chris Teahan have as many rings as his brother? I believe that Conner, because of his Red Shirt, has 5 rings. I've also heard that our transfer backup's have beaten this team in practice several times.

I don't expect a let down tomorrow night, Senior Night, but I'm worried about our last game on the road.

We played pretty well at Osu last year, both teams played well. No sweeping!

Tickets are printed before the beginning of the season; season ticket holders get tickets for all the home games before the season starts.

He shouldn't have to worry about winning tonight at least. Already an average team and without three of their best players. I will never feel sorry for Shaka but they are super thin tonight at guard.

My friend, from whom I used to get KU basketball tickets, was a Williams fund donor and had court side season tickets (4th row behind the KU bench) and he would get all of his tickets before the beginning of the season. Maybe things have changed but it makes sense that they would have printed the tickets before Preston bolted and the Texas game would have been a good one since he played there before Oak Hill Academy, how else would you explain Preston being on the ticket when even his bio has been removed from the KU website?...but I could be wrong

So down here in Austin several articles have been very hard on Shaka saying basically "All he has done is get to one Elite 8." It is the familiar 'What have you done for us?' that has UT fans questioning him as a coach. Going to love to see us go 36-0 on Senior Night (another record?) and 9-0 vs Shaka!!!!!!!!!! Of course I have reminded them that Coach hasn't lost to Shaka since that game. :kissing_smiling_eyes:

“All I can say is phenomenal coach and coaching staff,” Smart said of Kansas.

A week off might not be enough for Bamba. Smart said trainers are “still evaluating exactly what the diagnosis is.” They know it’s a sprained toe. He could barely walk after Kansas State. The pain was great enough to keep Bamba out of the second half of last Saturday’s game against Oklahoma State.
“Obviously, we’d love to get him back out there, but we have to do the right thing for him and to make sure that he heals up,” Smart said. “I guess the status is day-to-day.”
The Jayhawks were sure disappointed the 6-foot-11 freshman didn’t make the trip.
“I think we wanted to take every team’s best shot,” Kansas guard Svi Mykhailiuk said, “so we all were a little disappointed he didn’t play against us.”
Kansas coach Bill Self acted like it was no big deal, as if taking away the Big 12’s best shot blocker had no affect on anything.
“You guys (the media) dissect everything so much,” Self said. “So we find out at 1 o’clock that he’s not going to play. That doesn’t change anything. Other than throw the ball inside to Doke.”
Oh, Kansas did that plenty. Udoka Azubuike had a field day without Bamba there to keep him honest. Azubuike had 20 points and was 10 for 11 shooting. Many of those were two-handed slams where it looked like Azubuike was trying to dunk it as hard as he could.

damn good recruiting edge right there.

I don't know if you guys could tell by senior speech videos, but most of the Texas fans stayed in their seats and watched. They were very respectful and applauded at times. Special pm. Was talking to my son about seniors and he said that pretty much sums up what they value from their time, vs getting pd. Education, physical and mental development. They talked about going places they would never have had the chance to go, otherwise. The list of benefits is long and they were very appreciative. Coach Self and his staff have really mentored and changed a lot of fine young men.

@Crimsonorblue22 but I was told that winning games is all that matters... :wink:

@wrwlumpy did you know that JoJo left his home in Tuscon, Arizona for some California grass?

3 UW offensive linemen who all could be drafted this year decided to return for their senior years so they could be a part of what figures to be a great offense next year. Always gratifying to see. Have loved seeing all of our seniors here over the years.
