Duo-Post Goes Off for 16/14, as Birds Peck Domestic No-Hairs To Death
Mar 10, 2018 02:20 AM #1

Duo Post is getting better every game!

If KU keeps this substitute production up, the team with no bench just may become known as the with the Finishing Crew!!!

The team also got 16 points and 16 boards from the bench.

Svi and Malik were 9-16 from treyville!!

KU was +7 on the leaded crystal!!!

Everything is starting!

@jaybate-1-0 Maybe Silvio can teach Doke how to rebound?

They can't defend but they sure did enough to help us win

@BeddieKU23 Silvio is going to be exquisite once he knows what the hell he is doing.

New nickname: the enough bunch!

@jaybate-1.0 But geez, KSU big guy had 29. I am worried to think about what Konate might do if WVU wins tonight.

The interior, yes. Poor ball screen defense was the main problem.

@BeddieKU23 Yes, the post defense was absolutely terrible. They made Mawien look like an American, first round draft pick. The dude dropped 29 points, that is my main concern about tomorrow’s game because Tech and WVU both have considerably better bigs than that. Silvio really rebounded the ball and made a case for Bill to start him tomorrow. Mitch has got to learn to stop with the silly fouls. The positive is they both will get good minutes against good comp to pregame for the dance. If we get a 1 seed, I’d sit Doke in the first round or play him very sparingly to be save.

when an opposing player gets a career hi it almost always results in a win for us

@Hawk8086

Every game will be like this till Doke gets back. Until Doke gets back, this is Whackka Mole! It’s not how dominant we are. It’s how we find ways to whack just enough moles to win!

Holly was saying that in the huddle, coach looked at Silvio and said, "You don't know this play do you?" So coach had to diagram it before breaking huddle.

@jaybate-1.0 Boom! Silvio is a beast on the boards! His free throw shooting is smooth as silk too. Kid can ball.

Mitch? He's just doing what he did all season, only better. That block he had in the 2nd half was nasty!

Silvio - Double double

8/8 from the field for 16
10 big boy RB’s

Mar 11, 2018 01:53 AM #15

@Bwag He was the difference in the game. I love Mitch, but that was too much size he was giving up. If Silvio wasn't playing, we lose that game.

Mar 11, 2018 03:24 PM #16

Agreed. And like some have noted, we're evaluating Mitch in a position that he is not suited to be in, but has been drafted out of extreme necessity into. Silvio is more naturally a Center/PF.

@wrwlumpy hi ho Silvio! Awesome

Mar 11, 2018 05:10 PM #18

@KUSTEVE if Silvio wasn't playing like a badass last night, we lost that game.
