Seton Hall is approx a 6 seed in an 8 seed clothing.
They beat Texas Tech (3 seed).
They beat Providence (10) twice.
They split with Creighton (8).
They beat Butler (10) twice and lost once by 1.
They lost to Rhode Island (7) by 1.
They lost to Xavier and Villanova twice each. The last loss to Nova was 1 point in OT.

Take away: They have played many games against NCAA caliber teams. They will not be awed by the opponent or the stage. We need to bring our A game. This team is somewhere around West Virginia/Texas Tech level.

SHU played a good schedule, and they have some good wins. But they also have a loss to Rutgers that no one can explain, they got swept by Marquette (including a 20 point beatdown) and they split with a weak Georgetown team. They played up or down to the level of their competition quite a bit this season. St. John's played them tough twice (once when St. John's was terrible, once after St. John's briefly impersonated being the best team in the country).

They are an 8 seed because, for nearly every impressive win, they have a head scratching loss. Tech win. Rutgers loss. Louisville win. Blown out by Marquette. Split with Creighton. Split with Georgetown.

We need to play well, obviously because SHU is good enough to win this game, but they are also bad enough to lose it.

I know this. -We are going to need Doke tomorrow. - -Mitch is not going to cut it - and I really like Mitch , it's just he will get tossed around like a little rag doll tommorrow - no way he matches up.

I thought we might see a LITTLE more of Doke yesterday, I'm hoping that there isn't that hidden status where he isn't progressing as well as they said. -Seton Hall has two Big boys very fluid Del-Gado? AND ? - We are going to have to play better that's for sure .

Thing is yesterday I was kind of hard on the guys - then I sit back and watched some others. - -We were not the only other that struggled. - A lot played into it I think - -first game nerves , but also like Coach Self said this team is a team that has the least amount of room for error. - -We are just going to have to play better that's all. - Hopefully we can come out on fire from the three tomorrow.

Seton Hall just not going to give us the game - but we already know that right? - -We could be Arizona I guess right? - -Holy crap what a dumpster fire. - -BUFFALO -- BUFFALO just whipped their ass every way imaginable. -If we can get through tomorrow that will give Doke about another 3 days or 4 days rest - we shall see. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

When scouting KU, many opponents look to stop the players who have been hot. Penn chose Newman and Devonte exploded. In the Big 12 Tourney, they focused on stopping Devonte and Newman was MVP. Desosa had a great game against WVU, because no one knew anything about him. If the four smalls are hitting on all cylinders, we are a final 4 team.

Not sure how they can dominate us. With shooting? I think we can wear these guys down with running. Even Penn got wore down by us, and they were coached to perfection. Be patient on offense, but don’t be afraid to make them run.

I see Seton Hall as a West Virginia 2. - -some of the KU players feel the same. - really good rebounder physical team. - We've played this kind of team before - just got to crash the boards --hopefully hit the three. - -I'm not counting on Doke for a lot. - - Seton Hall's big's more fluid - - gonna have to get something from Silvio today - -hopefully Malik have a nice game - we can't put it all on Devonte.
