I thought a KUBuckets bracket group on ESPN would be fun, so I'm going to start one once the brackets come out. I'll post the group info here when it's ready. Hope you guys are able to join!

The group is not password protected, but it will lock at tip off before the first game, which means you won't be able to add other brackets after that. There's no limit to the number of brackets you can add before the first game, should you want to have multiple brackets.

@bskeet ha I thought about stating it but refrained. I will now.. You may choose Kansas to exit at any point and should be exempt from ridicule for having done so. If you find yourself irreconcilably divided on a course of action do what my family does, do two brackets. One homer, one realist, wherever the Twain shall part ways.

@JayhawkRock78 what you do is create a bracket and then add it to the Kubuckets group. Should work!

@approxinfinity I've often been told that I think with my heart and not my head. I don't really think that's true - UNTIL I start filling out these stupid brackets!!

I've had KU winning every year since probably 1975. I can't help it - I go through these scenarios in my head and dang it (or dad-gum it, as Roy would say) I always sincerely believe that we are going to win every game.

Glad my family doesn't depend on my gambling income to survive......

I'm the same way, except I wasn't brought into the Jayhawk kingdom until 1985. Kind of sucks to only have the correct champion twice since 1985 :)

@VailHawk Bring it on. You going down like yesterdays lunch man. Instead of Vailhawk you gonna be Ailhawk. A Hawk pooping on the winners for each game would choose better than you. You might as well take your bracket to the garbage now, because that's what your's is. My bracket's gonna hang in the louvre, they're gonna hang your bracket in the hall of shame. @Jaybate is gonna write a trillion page treatise on how bad your bracket is, and then he's gonna just write a one word treatise on mine, BHOF. (bracket hall of fame) @HEM is going to disect my brilliant analyses of all 68, while yours is going viral for how bad it is. Heck Warren Buffet might give you a billion bucks for getting every game wrong!

@Approxinfinity Does the bracket have to be completed before tomorrows play in games or is Thursday the deadline? Either way I'm in like win.

@approxinfinity Thank you for creating the ku bucket brackets. These brackets are fairly balanced and they make for some difficult selections. There's definitely no favorite. I don't even think Florida is all that favored because all these teams are vulnerable and the most "successful" are the most vulnerable, ie. wsu. It was difficult to make any clear favorite to win. I'm doubting my brackets and see some busting taking place early.

@VailHawk hahaha well played, well played indeed. I could never love Mizery. I grew up on the Mizery side, but my best friend in elementary had a parent who was a KU alum and took me to a bunch of games. My first KU game was Pierce's freshman year and I've been hooked ever since. And since I wasn't born in this geographical area I got to choose my allegiance and I chose correctly!!!!! :)

So there is now over a full page of entries.

Who has the best bracket name though?

For the record, I picked KU to win it all like every year since the early 90's. One bracket, one hope. LET'S GET IT ON!!!

Preemptive explanation for my awful bracket:

1. Always pick Hawks cuz I REALLY expect to beat all the other sorry lesser schools!
2. Always pick w my heart instead of my head. See point #1! I also have ISU in F4, KSU beating UK & WSU, SDSU in F4, etc.
3. I only fill out one bracket cuz it feels non-committal to have multiples.

For me, I filled two bracket, one with my left hand and the other right hand. So one follows my heart, two follows whatever crap I can't think of. :)

I decided I wasn't going to pull out my hair this year... so I didn't even fill in a bracket.

I knew this would be a nutty year... full of upsets and bad officiating. So why bother with the stress from losing brackets?

So I'm giving up the chance to win a billion bucks... but I saved my sanity in the process of not falling into the process.

From the games played so far, I would already be out. The only thing I would have to look forward to is marketing spam from Quicken Loans.

@drgnslayr After the VCU loss, there are no more perfect brackets (on ESPN anyway - until that game, there were a few).
