just sitting here thinking , that usually gets me in trouble but. Here thinking for me, I have really not a lot of trouble saying who my MVP on this team is and that is - - - - -Marcus.

Now I know a lot of you will say are you nuts? What about Devon , What about Doke? - -I get you I understand, how ever for me - - it simple it's Marcus/ What is MVP ? - it is your most valuable player and that means OVERALL not just one particular aspect.

Who brings more over all to the table for the team. Sure Doke Scores/Defends and those are important for sure , Devon Drives and Scores good on defense however Marcus is a head of Devon in assists - - takes better control of the ball , better asst/to ratio , Marcus can drive the ball , Marcus can facilitate - -Hell Marcus does really good job rebounding the ball - -had good numbers again rebounding for a guard - -had 7dobelievethat was 2nd on the team behind Doke. -does rebound pretty consistant - And Marcus Guards I mean DAM can that boy guard , he will strip you blind in a minute, just like a thief in the night, one minute you got it - -the next minute BAM gone, makes big plays when you need it at crucial times which in turn hypes the rest of the team and they all clamp down.

Marcus guards multiple positions and usually guards the other teams best player The others all contribute and contribute well, BUT for the over all Marcus is more Valuable. Defend , Rebound , Pass , Score some also Never foul trouble - THATS my MVP , everyone entitled to their opinion , just saying he is mine. - - - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

It's Doke. We sucked without Doke last year, we drop off substantially when he is off the court this year.

Love Marcus though.

Well I didn't realize this but I guess Jesse Newell actually did a fan poll on this and the results were that the poll turned out they had voted - - - It was Marcus Garrett , yay for me some others with me on this lol. - - Na guys I don't think there is a wrong answer here - - just different opinions. -- ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@jayballer73 exactly. It’s just a difference of opinion. Dotson, Doke, and Garrett can make an argument on why they should be our MVP. That’s a good problem to have

We've lost three games missing pieces, Moss in Game 1, Garrett for 2nd half of Villanova, and Dotson for a pretty good stretch of the Baylor game. While I can't disagree with a Doke as team MVP argument, one could pretty easily be made for Dotson, and Garrett, because bad things happen when we're missing them guys.

For your consideration: Dotson: Only player in NCAA with 450 points, 100 rebounds, 100 assists and 50 steals.

I love Doke and Garrett, and there are good cases for each. This is a good problem to have.
