I concur that Mahomes has forced more but I believe it is direct result of pressure to score on every possession as Chiefs D is pathetic. Chiefs D is absolutely miserable, too soft.

On paper this looks great as Chiefs need a WR of his caliber opposite Hill that can make plays but question remain on how well will he be able to contribute being away from football for over a year.

Ward had a nice game. If Okafor does not step up, Chiefs may release or put him on IR.

TE is another position which is shaping out to be interesting. Forton has bulked up and looking good and Chiefs are high on rookie Gray. It is possible that Blake Ball gets cut after he was resigned in the offseason.
Royals need help everywhere - hitting, pitching, bullpen.
They really need to 2018 draftees get developed quick to contend - Singer, Lynch, Kowar and Bubic.
Lynch and Bubic are looking much better in the 2nd MLB stint though, positive sign.
I am hoping to see Witt, Pratto and Melendez get called up before the end of this season.

DE is a position of concern for Chiefs. With Clarke potentially missing few games situation got a bit worse. They have resigned Okafor for back up. Jones is supposedly taking reps as outside rusher but still this is an area of concern.
I hope that Mike Dana takes a big sophomore jump and and the rookie they signed out of FL State can provide adequate help as a back up.

Even though there are several veterans on the team, Royals are so inconsistent. Dozier and Soler have been a major disappointment.
Singer does not seem to be the same pitcher as last year or hitters have scouted his tendencies.
I hope that Kowar, Singer, Bubic and Lynch can develop, future is dependent on these three guys.
After brutal first half of May with 11 game losing streak, Royals are playing better lately, now 5 games back.
Still long ways to go but overall they are looking much better.
Royals went thru a brutal stretch. Pitching is a concern. Dozier is in a deep slump. Bullpen has been shaky.
If young guys can develop they will give Sox trouble, regardless Sox are primed to win AL C this year. They are the team to beat.
Time will tell as to how this draft plays out, however, so far, all analysts are calling this to be a solid draft for Chiefs, A- range.
Sox is a better team but Royals are looking good, finding different ways to win.
It is a very long season, if starting pitching can hold up, Royals will give Sox their run for the money.
