As others have said he can switch on defense, he hustles for loose balls, is an active rebounder, moves the ball extremely well within the offense. He was great against Nevada too. If I'm an opposing coach I am still betting on him missing more often.

I think you can attribute some of this to Remy being out as well. He hasn't been the best on defense, in fact outright bad at times, but he's another guy the opposing defense has to respect. We also weren't able to really do any double pg type looks today. I still love how our starting 5 meshes.

A Nevada team that KU rolled (because they shot 54% from the floor). This KU team needs to shoot better to have good results. I know that sounds simplistic but it is even more true with this team because the defense isn't great.

Listed at 6'7'' but I am not sure he is taller than CB. He is pretty thick for a frosh though.

JCL is scoring but still might be a net negative. He is getting abused on the other end.

JCL's biggest issue is on ball defense. He can't keep guys in front of him which limits his minutes.

JCL has to start making shots though, he is a net negative if he can't make shots.

Good look for Och, those will go in more often than not.

Our offense has been more than fine for the most part. And, it's not just Remy - it's that we've had 2 real ball handlers on the court most of the time. Better ball movement and fewer turnovers.

I was actually thinking about defense more than offense. The D has been better with 2 guards pressuring the ball
