I mean players do get better. Frank Mason was a 32.7% 3-point shooter and 66.7% FT shooter as a freshman and a 47.1% 3-point shooter and 79.4% FT shooter as a senior. Players develop and get better. Dajuan Harris looks like he could be really good, so does Jalen Wilson. Maybe Clemence or Adams show potential next season. Maybe Bryce will improve with a full and normal offseason and a hopefully healthy sophomore season. Instead of trying to look for a quick fix and get a 1-year rental who probably won't be much better than a player currently on our roster, maybe we should recruit freshman and give them time to develop and play with each other.

We are definitely hoping for improvement out of Bryce. I would bet money on 4, possibly 5 new faces.

Bossi just said KU isn't interested.

Funny his ranking went up a bunch this yr. Tape is so so. He is a big guard that can create and shoot and defends. Not a really fast twitch athlete

Bates would be far below TyTy and Pettiford if it were up to me.

What happen here? Slater is usually spot on and he predicted KU...

He later insinuated that the tweet was in reference to the fact that his handler was looking for a big pay day.

He seems passable from three. He'd be my first call if Ochai wants to go pro. If we have 3+ guys leave (seems likely imo) and he is okay battling for minutes I'd also call him.

Of course we still want to add two guards.

@jayballer67 Yes but they would also 100% take him if TyTy goes to say, Illinois. The allure of starting at PG for KU is strong here though, to be sure.

You don't want to whiff on Pettiford because TyTy wanted to drag it out.

Pettiford mentioned he will wait until mid to possibly late April after meeting with KU coaches. TyTy will likely announce next week.

Believe it was mentioned by someone that knows, KU talking to Pettiford was to try and get TyTy to commit.

Yes but he doesn't solve any of our issues. He is short and not athletic.

Yeah, I like who the staff has targeted. If we get one of TyTy/Pettiford and one of Walker/McKissic we will be a real contender imo.

Believe the staff will be taking one FR and one veteran transfer. Bossi mentioned this on 247 that they don't really want two FR.
