Okay Jalen
Marcus taking threes oof

Bill Self the master of the halftime adjustment. Need a big one today.
@KirkIsMyHinrich By one minute by my calculation
Check the forum time stamps. It was about 14 minutes. Ultimately though it's about having fun during the game so it doesn't matter how many there are.
@Kcmatt7 said in 55% Win Rate Game Thread:
If this team doesn’t take/make enough threes they won’t win. 7 threes attempted isn’t enough
Strong agree
@jessejayhawk Ochai and Garrett.
We had like...two guys play decently. Not gonna win that way.

KU fans acting like Texas is bad are weird. Much more talented roster. Top 7 guys for Texas were top 60 recruits.
@DanR said in 55% Win Rate Game Thread:
Stupid shots last two possessions. Take it the damn rim or shoot a three
David jumper....
takes a shot of whiskey
Sure refs, now it's not a charge.
It's a trickle down impact with Bryce. He does the little things well at least, unlike Tristan.
0-6 from three 9-21 from two
CB really sucks today
@DanR said in 55% Win Rate Game Thread:
Didn't really need Harris taking that shot
Not his game at all.
Greg Brown just got Mitch slapped.
Too bad we didn't have the room to try and emergency add a big at semester.
@BeddieKU23 said in 55% Win Rate Game Thread:
Braun traveled 3 times in one possession
Braun against athletic competition has been bad. Partially nerves I think/hope.
@BeddieKU23 said in 55% Win Rate Game Thread:
Garrett just isn't the answer at pg
Gave a lot to the program, but not super sad to see him leave after this year.
Things spiraling quickly here.
Tyon should play more, at least get a chance to see if him grading out as one of our better players holds up with more minutes.
LMAO Tristan
@BeddieKU23 said in 55% Win Rate Game Thread:
Braun is having one of those games already.. yikes
One of the games where he is going against better athletic comp? YUP.
Good grief Greg Brown
Kai Jones :(
Dave just isn't as good as a lot of our bigs in the past. The fact that he is the best big we have is rough. Thankfully Bill went nuts getting more post guys for next year.
I'm lagging a bit due to streaming.
Bryce update
@BeddieKU23 said in 55% Win Rate Game Thread:
I'm sure Dave is good for 5 turnovers today
This is a really bad Dave match-up. Him being a net neutral would be a win. Hoping for more Tyon since Bryce is out.
@BeddieKU23 said in 55% Win Rate Game Thread:
Sounds like Bryce is out with a back injury he is not participating in warm-ups
Correct.
@stoptheflop Couple bench bigs.
Shaka? We good.
Yeah, saw it hinted at by Chasen on 247 that Bryce wouldn't play today. Don't think it makes a huge difference.

@BShark huh. I don't know how I missed this at the time. Crimson and Blue glasses I guess. Thanks.
Interesting to look back

My dumb ass even posted this: "Even KU people think it's FSU. I wouldn't worry about it if I were an FSU fan."
@FarmerJayhawk $omething :thinking_face:
@approxinfinity said in Tshiebwe:
@BShark what Nike school was Udoka bound for before we intercepted?
FSU. They helped bring him over and let's just say Hamilton is a strong ass recruiter.
@Texas-Hawk-10 said in Tshiebwe:
There's got to be a better way to deal with African recruits because it seems like there's usually a lot of drama involved with high level African recruits. 2 of the 3 players that have KU in the NCAA's cross hairs are Africans.
I don't know what a good solution could be, but African recruiting seems to be the most dirty of all types of college basketball recruiting.
Yep. And if we are being honest, it's hard to see Udoka's recruitment as being clean. He was "a Nike kid going to a Nike school" until all of a sudden it's KU? Okay sure. At least in that case he was a great kid and there were no issues, injuries aside.
@BeddieKU23 said in 2022 Recruiting Thread:
Imagine with that final group he's better then his rank
Much better.

@BShark The way I took it read it this isn't permnant. - Sounds like just stepping back a few - not sure. - Either way that's a blow. - -they have also have lost Isaiah Cottrell for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL
It's permanent.
Coach Huggins was asked if the door is open for Oscar Tshiebwe to return at any time this season. He immediately says "No."
Done at WVU.
Handlers gonna handle.
Made the final 8 for Mady Traore. 3* but his final 8 is Auburn, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Oregon, Pittsburgh, USC and Virginia Tech. Good prospect at 6'11''.
@FarmerJayhawk said in Non-KU Games Thread:
UNC down to noted power Georgia Tech. They’re talented but wow do the pieces not fit
GTech, blue blood slayer.
@approxinfinity Ding ding ding. Makes it hard for some people to trust experts. Need to actually take the time to think critically for yourself. I've been taking this seriously from the start. Making sure to be wash hands and whatnot. But I believe I mentioned this before I've been taking viruses and such more seriously since 2017 when I got a really bad one that had me on my ass. Until this year when I got sick after a dental appointment (I think something fell on the floor and they didn't wipe it down...) I hadn't got so much as a cold in between.
This is a wild ass thread full of US news sources (CNN Wapo etc) saying not to wear masks (with links to articles and tweets from official accts), don't wonder why people ended up confused. Frustrating!
Epidemiology experts said the most important aspect of preparedness costs nothing at all — calm.
Wash your hands regularly. Cover your nose and mouth when you sneeze. And when you’re sick, stay home from work or school and drink lots of fluids.
Not too complicated.
