@DCHawker We'd probably score if Bill put Harris in.

Calamari Game Thread • Dec 02, 2020 02:55 AM

@approxinfinity Well, they played with a PG in the game.

2 -12 from the field... More TOs than buckets...

Yeah, Kentucky has long NBA athletes at every spot, a lot harder than the first two opponents in that regard.

Calamari Game Thread • Dec 02, 2020 02:53 AM

@approxinfinity I'm okay with Bryce threes as well. But yeah.

Calamari Game Thread • Dec 02, 2020 02:52 AM

UK refs

Calamari Game Thread • Dec 02, 2020 02:51 AM

Uh, foul?

Calamari Game Thread • Dec 02, 2020 02:50 AM

@wissox said in Calamari Game Thread:

Fouls like that drive me nuts because players will go up in traffic and get slapped all over the place the and nothing gets called, then someone gets a tap on the way to the rim like Braun did and its a foul. Not saying it shouldn't have been called but that contact compared to most is paltry.

Udoka was fouled about 1 million times last season but since he was big and strong...

Calamari Game Thread • Dec 02, 2020 02:48 AM

@BeddieKU23 Gifted them the lead good grief.

Calamari Game Thread • Dec 02, 2020 02:46 AM

Well, that's a rough play to give up.

Calamari Game Thread • Dec 02, 2020 02:25 AM

I just mean any virus. If he had COVID there is no way he plays.

Calamari Game Thread • Dec 02, 2020 02:23 AM

Jalen is also starting again.

Well less than 100% Marcus is still not ideal.

Yeah like I said, this was impacting him in the St Joe game. Maybe he's slightly better now? Hard to say how far long into this (likely virus) he is.

You can easily talk through a mask lol.

EMPEROR OF BASKETBALL • Nov 29, 2020 11:03 PM

@BeddieKU23 I love shit posting Bruce but letting Cartier go was a good move. Team cancer.

Which, if we get 2/3 of them, we should end up 7th or 8th in the league. Really nice work.

Considering how the team has been complete ass, it's a remarkable effort. Things need to turn around though.

You would think eventually Cal would recruit some guys that can shoot.

He has had a lot of elite shooters

Those were generally his better teams too. He doesn't routinely go after them when he has his pick of the litter though. It's weird.

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 29, 2020 08:28 PM

Saw a good point raised about Kentucky. 2020 class wasn't super great to begin with, then you factor in the guys that reclassed or went straight to the league, makes it harder for the teams that rely on oads.

Revenge game • Nov 29, 2020 08:17 PM

Raiders hungover af after losing their superbowl.

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 29, 2020 08:15 PM

@BShark he played a TIGHT rotation today. Weird.

Like Bill, he wants to win and typically plays who he views as his best guys. The platoon was meme bullshit.

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 29, 2020 07:53 PM

Refs are not going to take this big Richmond lead lying down.

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 29, 2020 07:51 PM

Richmond hasn't even played amazing, just forcing UK to take jump shots basically.

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 29, 2020 07:45 PM

Refs are making sure UK wins.

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 29, 2020 07:42 PM

Here come the fouls on Richmond. Once again I am shocked.

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 29, 2020 07:40 PM

Weird to see a Kentucky team not well coached. SHOCKING. /s

@approxinfinity said in Non-KU Games Thread:

They haven't hit a 3 yet? Nuts. Hope we are ready to rebound

Yeah, ironically this year they are not a great match-up. Old Self teams would have feasted.

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 29, 2020 07:13 PM

Also Richmond's PG is from KC. :fire:

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 29, 2020 07:04 PM

It's hard to put into words how bad ISU is. Prohm knows talent but can't coach for shit.
