@DCHawker We'd probably score if Bill put Harris in.
@approxinfinity Well, they played with a PG in the game.

2 -12 from the field... More TOs than buckets...
Yeah, Kentucky has long NBA athletes at every spot, a lot harder than the first two opponents in that regard.
@approxinfinity I'm okay with Bryce threes as well. But yeah.
UK refs
Uh, foul?
@wissox said in Calamari Game Thread:
Fouls like that drive me nuts because players will go up in traffic and get slapped all over the place the and nothing gets called, then someone gets a tap on the way to the rim like Braun did and its a foul. Not saying it shouldn't have been called but that contact compared to most is paltry.
Udoka was fouled about 1 million times last season but since he was big and strong...
@BeddieKU23 Gifted them the lead good grief.
Well, that's a rough play to give up.
OCHAI BANGARANG
Jalen needs to chill, his loves his trey too much.
CLANGA
Offensive struggle game.
ugh
@nwhawkfan I enjoy Walton...
Once or twice a year...
Love zero downtime between the games!
Dukie V, barg.
Go time.
I just mean any virus. If he had COVID there is no way he plays.
Jalen is also starting again.

Well less than 100% Marcus is still not ideal.
Yeah like I said, this was impacting him in the St Joe game. Maybe he's slightly better now? Hard to say how far long into this (likely virus) he is.
SURPRISE HE IS PLAYING LOLS

lol
Marcus looked off against St Joes, this explains it.
JK WE GOOD
Welp we lose.
@jayballer67 KU is currently the favorite.
@jayballer67 single digit wins
@BeddieKU23 Everyone sucks except Gonzaga.
You can easily talk through a mask lol.
@approxinfinity Looks average.
@BeddieKU23 I love shit posting Bruce but letting Cartier go was a good move. Team cancer.

Which, if we get 2/3 of them, we should end up 7th or 8th in the league. Really nice work.
Considering how the team has been complete ass, it's a remarkable effort. Things need to turn around though.

You would think eventually Cal would recruit some guys that can shoot.
He has had a lot of elite shooters
Those were generally his better teams too. He doesn't routinely go after them when he has his pick of the litter though. It's weird.
Saw a good point raised about Kentucky. 2020 class wasn't super great to begin with, then you factor in the guys that reclassed or went straight to the league, makes it harder for the teams that rely on oads.
Raiders hungover af after losing their superbowl.
@Kcmatt7 said in Non-KU Games Thread:
@BShark he played a TIGHT rotation today. Weird.
Like Bill, he wants to win and typically plays who he views as his best guys. The platoon was meme bullshit.
You would think eventually Cal would recruit some guys that can shoot.
Refs are not going to take this big Richmond lead lying down.
Richmond hasn't even played amazing, just forcing UK to take jump shots basically.
Refs are making sure UK wins.
Here come the fouls on Richmond. Once again I am shocked.
Weird to see a Kentucky team not well coached. SHOCKING. /s
@approxinfinity said in Non-KU Games Thread:
They haven't hit a 3 yet? Nuts. Hope we are ready to rebound
Yeah, ironically this year they are not a great match-up. Old Self teams would have feasted.
Also Richmond's PG is from KC. :fire:
It's hard to put into words how bad ISU is. Prohm knows talent but can't coach for shit.
