I took URI as well. OU is crap, should be in the NIT.
@BeddieKU23 The number getting down to 13.5 is insane.
WHO IS READY TO WATCH UN YOUNG LOSE TO URI?
I haven't been able to find anything on him, so I am curious as well.
@BeddieKU23 Computers now saying 20 point win. Not sure about that but I think KU covers 13.5.
@KUSTEVE I have them losing to Villanova.
@BeddieKU23 They are absolutely not beating Creighton w/o him.
2011
@BeddieKU23 SHU is -2.5

He wants to coach.
I'd take him and Sherron on the staff. :sunglasses:

I think it will be someone not even mentioned here, in about 10 years.
10 or more yep, that's what I hope too.
@BeddieKU23 Yeah. People are trumping them up because they are good numbers for a 16 seed but still, they aren't very good.
@jaybate-1.0 I will watch anything tangentially related to KU, in this case Harvard was Penn's last opponent. I'm hopeless!
@betterfireE Correct.
Harvard just lost to Marquette by 7 in the NIT. So there is that...
@Kcmatt7 We lose on CBS this year tho.
"For most of his time at Kansas, Self has had pros in his starting lineup and younger ones on his bench, awaiting their turn. The culture was passed from one group to the next, and he could pick his spots to motivate. “A person like Malik wouldn’t have had to worry about Coach Self having to focus in on him,” former KU guard Elijah Johnson says. “Devonte’ was the only one comfortable enough to drive the car, and I don’t think people understand how difficult that can be. That’s a hard situation to be a part of. Coach had to fix all of that, man. He had to fix so much that people don’t even know about or don’t hit the surface, and that’s why I respect him more and more when I see him doing this stuff and giving people confidence to think they can do anything.”"
@BeddieKU23 Too bad Adams can't grad transfer. He would be very appealing if that were the case.
Will be interested to see where Kisunas ends up. As I mentioned before if KU wasn't so loaded I'd hope we'd get involved.
@BeddieKU23 Could Nova up his contract? No idea about their financials.
Holtmann is definitely up and coming. Not super young but not old either. Has done well at every stop so far.
@Blown I believe thinks Self is only around 3 more years. Idk about that, I think him taking the Team USA youth position kind of reconfirms his commitment not only to basketball but to this level. We will see. I hope we have Self around for another 10+ years.
@BeddieKU23 I heard a lot of bad things about Wilkes coming out of HS. Also he is a wing that thinks he is a PG.
I have the Big 12 opening 4-3. Texas, OU and KSU being the losers. No Big 12 teams in the S16. I don't see the NBA talent on these Big 12 teams which matter in March.
@BeddieKU23 Otoh we saw Mawein go 13-19. Delgado is better than Mawein.
@BeddieKU23 Also would Jay leave Villanova? I'm not sure he would.
Illinois fans are hilariously scared of Kansas at this point. Worried about KU for Liddell. I doubt there is serious involvement there. Too many better options than a 6'7'' PF. He is a fine program player but the main schools right now being ILL, KSU, ISU etc... says it all. Missouri I believe has even backed off a bit. Maybe his recruitment still blows up at some point, it's early for 2019 yet.

@dylans I think all DI athletes are elite. I really do. If you compared them to the general population especially, then I think they're elite. Now I know there's some degrees of elite, but in general there's no difference. They're all athletic enough to run and jump out of the gym, short, tall, makes no difference.
That's our key difference then. When I talk about athleticism I only mean in context to other D1 or P5 players. Lucas and Silvio for example, not comparable!
@BeddieKU23 Agree, he was never going to see meaningful minutes.
@BeddieKU23 He might want to accomplish something with this class though. Do they have anyone leaving early after this year?
@wissox It's all relative. I would agree though Wisconsin typically has lots of athletic combo forwards. Mitch actually reminds me of a Wisconsin player.
Gotta hand it to Brucey, he was out recruiting last night. At EJ Liddell's game.
@wissox SEC teams almost always have great athletes. I think that's the crux of it. I have UK in the FF and Florida in the EE. I won't be tricked again.
@Texas-Hawk-10 A key player for UVA just broke their wrist if you didn't see that.
@BeddieKU23 I'd definitely like to see Doke play some tomorrow. From what I can tell by reading, with the caveat that I am not a doctor, is that this will continue to hurt Doke for awhile. It's much different than an injury that will heal up quickly if he stays off it. So he has to figure out how to play through the pain or just not play. Playing will not make it worse.
I won't be surprised if Murray State gives them a game. Don't have them getting past the Shocks.
Steve Alford sweating nervously.
@Blown Self needs to outlast SZ.
@Kcmatt7 Delgado would have a field day if Doke can't go.
lol

The Jayhawks arrived at the team hotel in Wichita about 20 minutes ago... Self said Lightfoot will start Thursday & he hopes to have Azubuike available in an emergency capacity. Udoka was on court the last 3 days & ran today... #KUbball
He's at the top of my realistic list.
@Jayhawk-in-OKC Seton Hall is better than WVU imo.
I hope the charges get thrown out.

Tubby out at Memphis
In with Penny
Surprise surprise.
@BeddieKU23 Writing was on the wall when he couldn't crack the rotation on this year's weak team and Lewis started playing ahead of him.
@BeddieKU23 Pretty loaded team. Not a lot of bigs though so he should have a really solid shot to get pt when a big post is needed.
@KUSTEVE Not sure how much Gurley really knows.
@joeloveshawks Our good buddy @KUSTEVE already mentioned it was just him hearing Greg Gurley. So, non-news for now.
