I think I'm going to faint......Silvio and Sam in at the same time!
Silvio was serviceable even!!!
LOL OF COURSE

Silvio fired UP
Probably excited just to be out there lol.
@Texas-Hawk-10 Otoh Baylor scored on Mitch a lot. I can see where you are coming from though.
@jaybate-1.0 ISU so many turnovers
@BeddieKU23 tru
Mitch...

Ku looking much sharper today, but we are going to need an adjustment at half to get some offensive penetration.
I'm really concerned about the complete lack of defense.
Baylor abused Mitch. ISU was paying attention.
@Texas-Hawk-10 Strongly disagree.

Lead gone asap
ISU is playing better we just hit some lucky threes and we are back to bricking them.
@Crimsonorblue22 So is this team.
BeddieKU23 said:
Lone bright spot, Marcus had a nice drive
He should be playing over Vick as much as possible tbh.
DCHawker said:
Remarkable that we have the lead. They may miss shots, but we aren't doing much to contest them - getting into the paint ridiculously easily.
They aren't missing many 2s at all. When they don't turn it over they get a good look.
BeddieKU23 said:
Vick is easily the worst player on the team
His advanced stats in conference play are BRUTAL.
ISU is 7-9 on twos, lol.
Wow Vick yeesh

Tait says guys already getting on each other during the timeout
Not surprising. Hopefully next year with so many new guys we will see good chemistry develop.
Lard is going to eat Mitch alive.
Udoka is our only good player RIP.
It was about the fake joe dooley account on twitter becoming active again. Lol.
@JayHawkFanToo @Crimsonorblue22 "Surprisingly" it was a load of crap.
Oh man, this was a great troll job.
@Crimsonorblue22 Sometimes people just don't get along and no amount of help will change it. I don't know any specifics.
Agbaji is a nice signing and I wouldn't push him out but if we have the room to take 5 players (axing Cunliffe maybe?) then you add an elite wing if you can. Achiuwa and Wilson definitely qualify.

Who is this guy? I hope its not bad news!
A dude. He was the editor of the UDK for like 5+ years and did have a job writing for the AP for a bit too. So he probably has some connections still but doesn't appear to be some super duper insider.
There is definitely some in-fighting on this team. @jaybate-1-0 called it really early too just observing, so credit where credit is due.
Also, SOON trigger warning.

yep i said this directly afterwards, pretty much every other stat was even. We were only out rebounded bye 3 and missed almost twice as many shots.
Couldn't handle Baylor's lengthy athletes. This team badly needs someone that can consistently penetrate at this level but that just isn't the case.
That's pretty great. I had been digging around Max Preps but they hide the box scores behind a pay wall and I am absolutely not paying for HS basketball stats. Even funnier knowing that there is a site that puts them out there for free.
@BeddieKU23 I would figure one is Sherif Kenney who looks like a high major prospect but who is the other player?

David McCormack is averaging 12.8 pts, 9.2 boards, 1.3 blks, 1.3 steals, 64% FG, 65% FT's.
He's #3 or 4th option at Oak Hill with their perimeter shot happy guys (UK & Oregon Commits).
I'd take those numbers at KU in 2-3 years any day!
Thanks for posting. He isn't on twitter at all so it can be hard to find individual game stats for him. It also doesn't help that he has a common name. You'd think a school like Oak Hill would just tweet out stats but not really, it's a lot easier when the player (like Dotson and Grimes) tweet or retweet it.
Definitely good numbers. Being in a situation where there are 3 guards/wings going to high level D1 ball means not many shots.
Hurt and JRE are kids I think we get, and both are very very good.
@FarmerJayhawk What if RJ reclasses to 19? Does that change anything with Jacobs? Or would someone else likely be pushed out? You can't just stop recruiting RJ imo.
Really can't go wrong with Wilson or Achiuwa at the wing. I'd love either one of them. RJ and Jalen seem really close, not saying they play together in college but I believe they have known each other since grade school and I would take them as a package deal in a second.
Edit: I see you mentioned RJ before I made this post. Hadn't loaded that yet when I posted.
I'm thinking around 10-11 ppg and 3-ish apg. Too hard to project rebounds because he likely won't have as many opportunities as our guards the last couple years since we should be returning to two post player line-ups. Though guys like Dedric and KJ are pretty flexible as 4s.

Latest 2019 NBA Mock Draft.
Grimes # 8
Vick #56
Langford #5
Zhaire Smith (Tech) #16
Konate (WVU) #40
Well if this holds up for Grimes he will have to go unless he has some kind of Miles Bridge moment.
@jayballer73 Either one is fine and wouldn't have as many compatibility issues.

@jayballer73 but possible that the board doesn't work well with Edge browser. Historically, Microsoft browsers have been the bane of web devs, wouldn't surprise me if there is a bug with the board that is Edge specific.
Jayballer it's time to install Firefox or Chrome. :joy:
@BeddieKU23 The worst part has to be that it was fairly obvious even back in May/June. He was always interested in UK and then once it was apparent to UK that they weren't getting Grimes and Cal was kind of luke warm on Romeo they immediately pounced on a kid they knew they could get. Meanwhile it apparently blindsided the UW staff, but not their fanbase. They should have been still evaluating and keeping some fires warm for what was a very real possibility.
@KUSTEVE Self calls out players he thinks have something. It's his way of trying to get it out of them when he feels it is needed*. Honestly I would be more worried about a player really struggling if Self didn't call them out.
*Note how he handled Perry differently, because that's not what Perry needed.
@jayballer73 It's really weird that making a new account would fix it. Going into read only mode would imply it's an issue with your browser being able to run scripts but obviously that isn't the case since you are posting now. And also just shouldn't be an issue with any newer browser unless you have something like noscript (I do but obviously I allow this site because I know it's safe).
After reading the Wisconsin board a bit I kinda feel bad for them. Didn't realize how bad they were this season and how atrocious their recruiting has been lately. They really wanted Ochai but 99% of them knew it was over immediately if the KU offer was commit-able.
Wondered where you had been buddy, welcome back.
@Ralster I know that just like alcohol, it effects people differently. I just don't care if our players are doing it.
Dotson and Grimes are pretty good fits too and have the side benefit of being highly ranked. Self has had success with similar guards. Grimes just needs to be okay with not being a PG, that is the one hang-up I can see out of this class.
@Ralster Self might be close to done with it too after Preston. He very well knew Selby, Cliff, Diallo and Preston were at risk to never play for KU when he signed them. And it finally REALLY bit him with Preston. We've seen now the staff willing to take McCormack early (I know his ranking is fairly high now, but he is the kind of center we have shied away from in the past) and grabbing Agbaji shows that Self seems willing to take guys he knows will be here for 3-4+ years and develop. Both of these players are really nice fits for Self too, imo. It's so easy to just focus on rankings and not fit, and I think the staff has done a good job getting away from it in this last recruiting class.
Jaylen Hoard would be an incredible Self steal.
@BeddieKU23 Okay interesting to know and yeah KU can't compete with WF academically. I wonder if Chaundee Brown would be a transfer candidate. We were obviously very interested in him out of HS. Of course, he couldn't help next year...
