KU will be the late game again Saturday.
Getter of buckets Thomas Allen has requested a release from his NLI to NC State. Currently at Brewster c/o North Carolina. That has worked out for KU before (no idea if KU even shows interest).
Brooks and Dorsey are really friggin good. Also Dorsey was pretty interested in KU so he will probably play the game of his life.
Most pts KU has ever scored in the first three games of the NCAAT.

Josh destroyed Swanigan. Swanigan got half his points on threes where Lucas was on him.

It's unconventional and honestly there are reasons I'm not a coach but right now, what is Swanigan doing all that well? I would strongly consider going to one big and having it be Haas as much as possible. This is extremely unlikely to happen, just my 02.

Kind of an odd game. Purdue had an unreal start but KU kept within distance. Then Purdue actually kind of sucked except for Haas.
If I'm ole Paintypants I keep Haas in as much as possible. What a load he is.

KU very likely out for Duval according to BHam. Things change but, it's pretty late in this process. He says Duke or Zona based on what he heard.
Had KU beating Izzo by 8-ish. Which honestly felt about right for that game but Bridges got hurt and KU pulled away late.

KU wins by 4 in a high scoring game IMO.
I would like to thank all involved in the Oregon Michigan game for it ending in a timely manner and in general being a fast game.
What baffled me was Oregon not fouling more. They still had two to give. Worked out but Walton did get a pretty good look, I half-expected it to go in.
Be careful what you wish for and KU hasn't beat Purdue yet but I'm glad Oregon won.
And really if you don't watch much Big East basketball it's almost hard to fathom how bad Depaul is. Missouri probably would have beat them this year.
