It's been an issue all year - not so much missing them, but not going up strong to initiate contact and draw fouls...
This is one of the best 2 point shooting teams in Self's tenure actually. Always frustrating to see the misses though.
Frustrating to see Braun shy away from contact the way he does. Its an auto 2 free throws for most people

I thought Texas did better hedging those high ball screens and were able to disrupt flow a lot better then KU did against them.
Honestly I'm more worried about our own team.
Harris has to score. He cannot play 30+ minutes with goose eggs.
Wilson has to rebound. He didn't compete in the Baylor game on the boards. It's a big deal because it often fuels his offense.
David has to stay on the floor & healthy. He only plays slightly north of 50% of minutes in a game on average. That's just not going to get it done in March.
Ochai we need every bit of your 20 ppg and more. Need him to get the ball in pressure situations and make plays.
CB we need all of your inside/out game and rebounding + your swagger.
The bench- just has to contribute and minimize the drop off from the 5 starters. They are too hit or miss.
Start of the best month in sports. Even better if we win the whole thing!

Foul trouble hit for Och & Mitch in the first half. CB might have also had 2. The refs got special in the 2nd half on both sides for a while destroying all flow and sanity for those watching.
KU had a sizeable lead for much of the first half (13 points at multiple times) then some bizarre lineups erased the lead in 3 minutes from the 5 and change mark to the 2 and change mark.
At one point in the first half the lineup combination was not what you'd call good use of your substitutions.
Think I saw Baylor had a 22-7 edge in fast break points. Makes sense since we had offensive offense shooting from the perimeter. Long boards lead to easier transition opportunities.

Och got 27 and didn't even have a good shooting night. He just needed help and got very little
Remy was an issue last night. He does very little that's actually positive. Pounds the ball and lost on defense. But getting 0 points from Harris and Jalen having his worst game in conference play were bigger issues due to the minutes they played
Lost on the road to a top 10 team that had every reason to be motivated. Time to move on. Starters couldn't piss in any ocean
