Just failing to see vision of this offseason so far. Yesufu and Pettiford seem like the only 2 guys of the 7 we have coming in that can actually make a difference. No idea what Ochai and Wilson are doing. If they return great, if they don't I'll laugh and move on. Maybe after the final roster is solidified I can take a hard look at the ceiling of this group and get more optimistic however
right now I wouldn't be surprised if we took a step back again. Am I crazy? Maybe I need a vacation...

So basically Kyle can come here, redshirt and then transfer somewhere else for more playing time close to home. Got it

So did Chasen, basically saying that Marcus coming back would be about the lack of pro options, not who KU has signed to play at guard

Some chatter out there that Marcus was considering returning due to the recent PG signees but not sure how credible that was, again just chatter.

I don't expect Marcus stays but it was also in that same chatter that they want a decision one way or the other soon

He's not a bad player but we are talking about Duke here. Thought he would end up in the Big East or possibly a lower level ACC school.

They did take Goldwire who was like a #300 ranked recruit. Blakes is considerably better then him coming in, if he goes there. But yeah not used to seeing it

I wouldn't expect all 4 to return the season after. Its the new reality

Getting us through the biggest lull of the offseason, keeping minds fresh and away from how last season ended. I mean its interesting, still don't think Bill has the roster he needs but that's another discussion

I don't think so currently. Maybe that changes in 6 months.. And you really have to question again, why take this JUCO if he can't help you this upcoming season. Love how big/athletic he is. We'll see what talk comes of him this offseason

Assist numbers show he's a willing passer, 2.1 a game, 3 games so far with 4, only one game where he didn't have a single assist.

But I think the biggest scare is skill level. There is some full game streams on youtube if your interested. Think he'll have to redshirt and get in shape and learn how to play at this level..

One time KU target Brandon Podziemski ended up at Illinois.

Texas lost a pair of 4 star recruits, they followed Shaka to Marquette. Ellis & Joplin, Texas seemed to really like that pair.

Wouldn't that just be a kick in the you know what, Texas has expressed interest in Eastern Washington Tanner & Jacob Groves. Beard is starting to piss me off

TyTy will release his top 5 on Saturday to start the bidding war for his services. Oh well

Texas picks up a pair of big transfers- Devin Askew of Kentucky and Timmy Allen of Utah. Allen avg 17 ppg last year. Also, Andrew Jones will return for his 6th year at Texas. Wow. Jase Febres who was injured for most of the year will also return. Texas has a salty backcourt again

Micah Peavy trades Texas teams leaving Tech for TCU. That makes 5 transfers for Dixon now.

Athletic big Tyreek Smith leaving Tech. Always liked this one's upside.

The time has passed when any of us can really relate to what these kids think. Some decisions make sense, this one doesn't but best of luck. Just another waste of time

I don't expect we will see the same 5 with whats going on but yeah the possibility is still there. I'm just not that thrilled right now and hope Bill figures it out.
