Fix the tournament selection. So many bad teams on the bubble or in this yr.

Purdue just grabbed their first lead in 3 games! I repeat over 120 minutes of losing. And that's a team on the bubble or sitting in/out some brackets. Redonkilous for that to be the case while teams like Stephen F Austin, East Tennesse St etc cant even get on the bubble

Kansas broke West Virginia. They are losing at home by 7 to OSU. They have 12 points at the under 8 timeout

NBA. No expectation he returns. It will hurt not seeing him for another 1/2 years but this was always reality. Hoping he ends his career here with a title in hand!

Comparing their SO and SR seasons...which is unfair to Dot in a way but this is his last season so it's kinda fair. He is actually better on two pointers than Frank. Better BPM, better winshares. Raw rebound, assist, turnover numbers are close. FTA will end up close.
I would of course love for him to be back but I understand why he is going pro.
From how I see it Frank & Devonte had great stories (the underdog) and we got to see the evolution of them over 4 years and that plays a big part. Their Sr years were special, Frank's POY run was amazing, Devonte got this team to a F4. Those are moments you don't forget. Their stories were easy to love
I really don't think we know much about Devon and he almost left after last season. As far as I know Devon didn't have a crazy story to get here he's just a damn good basketball player so I don't think people are as attached to him without the feel-good story and the expectation that he's leaving this year.
He is a star and I'm seeing him not only as the Big-12 POY front runner but he's getting burn for National POY as well. I would love to see him have a statement game at Baylor on Saturday and thrust that momentum up another notch. Despite playing with 2 injuries he's been basically really good for the past month. I know I'm trying to enjoy every minute we still have him in a Jayhawk uni
I'm from Bernie's home state and I'm not much of a fan of him. I think he's lost popularity here the past few years. Before his voice had some pop but since the 16 run and the scandal with his wife.. not so much

A lot of people think he isn't ready to go professional. He can't shoot the 3, he's too small etc.

It will be a very interesting game to say the least. Baylor absolutely manhandled us at home. So much at stake.
For us, a chance to share the Big12 title and virtually lock up a #1 seed.

OU/Iowa St are not good defensive teams.
We are seeing the benefits of practicing and playing 4 guards for the past month.
I'm hopeful when we see some teams in the tournament that cannot defend KU like Baylor/Tech/WVU that this offense will look really good, especially Doke & Dotson that simply are matchup nightmares for teams to scout in short time.
PER's from that fun win last night. Dotson's big night saw him rise.

@BeddieKU23 Went back and watched the DDot no call when the guy went flying. @tundrahok I think called it right. The ISU guy didn't really have good guarding position, although it wasn't a flop. DDot is so quick he just got in the way a bit and couldn't get out of the way of the flying DDot.
