Gameday in Waco. Really weird that the game will start after the show ends.

Saturday will mark the first time in 62 years that KU plays at the #1 team in the country.
Last time was March 8, 1958 at K-State (Ahearn Fieldhouse), KU beat Kansas St.
Looking back, that is actually the only time in the AP poll era (since 1948-49 season) that KU has played at the #1 team in the country.
Will be interesting to monitor MaCio Teague's health. He didn't play in their beatdown of West Virginia because of a right wrist injury. Have seen little insider stuff on how severe that one is.

I believe after this past week Marcus will be DPOY.
The stats say Udoka is the better defender due to how much he changes shooting %'s at the rim and how dominant the defense is with him on the floor but the eye test tells you Marcus is a bad, bad man and just does a lot of things that can't be put on paper. Those 3 straight steals against West Virginia were game breakers. The national media has caught on finally they are touting him as the premiere defender

Their class is good for KSU. Still funny as hell that we got the big we wanted out of the two we were both looking at in Gethro and Bradford.
