Over the back much
Redick
And any foul that is called against dj Johnson is missing him fouling our bigs every single time he gets position
Huge shot by vick who had been a ghost until then
Refs are really losing this game. What a joke of a crew

Jackson said you will never get this ball
About 4 plays tonight you just say wow
Amazing response from him after a poor game.
The response you see from such a gifted kid

Didn't like that call on Lucas. Got a foul for being bigger than Budke.
Very 1 sided called game so far
Walk on career night!
Jackson said you will never get this ball

Barry brown get out of here
What a pass jj
Another Bulls hit call
Rebounding the major concern the rest of game as k st comes back to life

Awesome play of late
No reason this team shouldn't kill KSU.
Well mason is back and lucas has really played solid
That foul call on mitch is totally biased he called it before mitch even checked him
Awesome play of late
Can't play bragg tonight man
Great plays by lucas to keep play alive and he got that basket off good pass
Agreed
And so 12 minutes in and mason is a no show tonight? Where is he
Dumb foul svi

@BeddieKU23 in fairness, both passes kind of sucked. one was a weird lazy ass spin bounce pass from Svi. The other was an attempt to thread the needle up high on the baseline over everyone else. Carlton will settle in, I hope.
Agreed just highlighting his week hands
Let's see if we can last a minute without bragg turning it over..
That's what happens when we don't match energy!
What an ugly start at home. What else is there to say
Lol these shots are redic
Turnover bragg jeez
This game so far is to Frans liking.
I expect that we will see better soon
Mason needs to get it together. Turnover, missed layup missed floater.
Not liking the effort and so far k st is playing some kind of sag pack line d
Lazy lazy lazy
Lucassss
Lucas big again
Only took 3 minutes for Josh to get a foul. Just not smart
K st matching early. If devonte ever finds his shot that has been the early mismatch
And squeaky calls a timeout to avoid what was coming
Jackson with a top 10 dunk!!!
Terrible attempt at press
4 4 early
Paging devonte shot. Good lord
Bill has had a lot of influence recently from people and events.
Some that I think have made him so open to the 4 out 1 in scheme:
Fred Hoiberg, friend and rival that fully employed the scheme. So many matchups against spread offenses.
The shot clock reduction and KU playing in the WUG. Self got to trust his guys to make plays with less structure and the shorter clock made him believe in quicker offense to more possessions and playing with tempo.
The Villanova game. Might have been the tipping point of it all. Going down to guards and one big had to fundamentally hurt him inside.
Josh Jackson. I don't think without him he would even be doing any of this. Josh can guard 4s and guards and is the ultimate versatile baller. Svi might be the same size but they are not the same player. I don't think svi would have been the guy to make him go this way
Some food for thought

If he has back problems I'd say we probably will pass on him. I see he will visit NC ST this week so there's no telling he makes it past that visit without going there
We will see what else emerges. It's hard to get a read on Walker, if he never visits it's hard to see us as a serious player for him and the one school he did visit FSU has a likely opening at his position. Taking Cunlifffe would put us in jeopardy of landing him imo but that is just based on the current situation.. we know we need an immediate wing who can score and play minutes
And a lot of those issues can be solved with a change of scenery. He has risk but if we lose all of our wings we are hard pressed to find a better option
Cunliffe although he comes with more baggage potentially. He's here for tonight's game and I don't see him going anywhere else after.
Copeland is someone who has underachieved for his ranking. There was talk he would be a OAD and now he's a mid season transfer in his junior year. I'm not sure Georgetown was ever the best fit for his skill set but I also wonder if Copeland has just not progressed like a lot of people thought.
Cunliffe fills a need, Copeland would be another role player in the post that we have no idea how he would put his game into our current offensive scheme... we will see
