They have had 3 or 4 shots already they gotta make.
Nice job juan
You have to make that
1 prospect Tre Johnson is considering a visit to KU. Was at UK and has been to Baylor and Texas also. Case on the case lol
Top 5 prospect Dylan Harper is down to a final 5 and has KU on that list. Hasn't visited KU, he has been to Duke and Indiana already. Said he will take his 3 remaining visits after the season. Son of Ron Harper Sr and younger brother of Ron Harper Jr who was a star at Rutgers. He is in contention for the #1 spot.

The betting line feels like a trap. My instinct is to hammer KSU.
Nope, try again 🤑
Yeah it did. Dixon reported no ACL/MCL issue either so hopefully he gets back to 100% at some point.
This is the game we need to win. I'm confident we get it done
Definitely want to be cautious with a young big so agree get him right and ease him back in. We'll need him for depth. We just have to hope we get more flashes out of Udeh like we got last game.
Haven't seen where it happened either. All of a sudden, he was hurt and the announcers/cameras were following. Certainly sounds like high ankle that needs some time to heal.
Dixon sounded optimistic he'd be back sooner than later.
Mike Miles of TCU has a hyperextended knee, no ACL/MCL issue. Will miss today's game against WVU & perhaps more.
5 Star PG Tahaad Pettiford will announce tomorrow. Has KU as a finalist but hasn't visited. KU offered in October. Did get to Auburn and Uconn. Weird
Self now saying Zuby out 2-3 weeks. Hopefully he's back for the late season push
The schedule is beyond redicilous.
MJ has had the back issues (spasms). We've certainly had our share of injuries this year. All 3 freshman have unfortunately had something going on already that has stunted their development.
Foot injury. Self said extended period of time. X-Rays negative.
Mentions Kevin has gotten treatment last 2 days. Expects him available
Zuby will miss some time according to Self & Udeh will be 1st big off the bench.
Personally, I'm not sure Purdue will be the team to beat in March.
I'm more interested in the pieces around Edey then Edey himself. I see a lot of inexperienced guys, mainly their freshman backcourt (they are their 2nd & 3rd leading scorers) and I'm not buying this team for March success. We've seen enough NCAA Tournament's to know you don't rely on freshman and while Edey is the headliner on that team Loyer and Smith lead them in a lot of other categories and run the show.
I think Self has definitely learned a few things from Wright over the years on how to defend certain teams. It worked Saturday as it did against Indiana when we played their star big. I'd be confident in him scheming us to victory.
I'll never discount Self with days to prepare against anyone.
Think we lucked out against Kentucky on a lot of our post traps, post digs etc that stopped Oscar from having a bigger game. UK didn't make any perimeter shots and if Purdue has 3-4 shooters around that Behemoth, then how do you bring an extra defender in to disrupt?
The guys definitely took coaching to heart regarding rebounding. We'll see if that continues or was more of an one-off
Thinking back on the game, Self outcoached Calimari badly in this.
They had a plan for Oscar that worked enough to win the game. They were also able to exploit Kentucky's poor middle screen defense.
Thanks Cal!
Good to know that we can beat up on more then just ourselves within conference. TCU wasn't whole or this could have been even more lopsided.
I like that comp as well. I settled on Dotson due to recency & my projection for how long he sticks around. They are/were both ranked around the same as well, both late bloomers.
I hope we get everything Tyshawn was without the mistakes. Elmarko will have his growing pains but hopefully playing alongside and learning from Juan is a real positive for him before he hopefully takes the keys over the year after.
Those that scout him have said he's still a bit raw in certain areas of the game (makes sense since he hasn't played the sport that long) but man does he do a lot of things that translate to the next levels.
I see him fitting in well next to Juan in the backcourt next season.
I'm also mad at Desi Sills for having 24 off the bench for K-St, Shahada Wells for having 17 off the bench for TCU, that pesky Zeigler from Tennessee who had a big game off the bench when beating us in the Bahamas.
In fact in all 4 of KU's defeats this season, a bench guard for the other team has had double digit points. We have gripes. UK crying over our big catching 2 lob dunks is so rupp rafters
Updating post big win in Rupp!
Points-
Jalen passed Svi & Aaron Miles and now sits in 41st All-Time, 1 point behind Wayne Selden. Jalen will pass Selden, Jacque Vaughn, Greg Dreiling & Scot Pollard on Tuesday & then starts his chase towards the Top 30.
Jalen has 10 regular season games left + 2 guaranteed post season games currently. At his current scoring rate, he can pass Wilt Chamberlain for 27th all-time. More Big-12 tourney & NCAA tourney games could push him could get him closer to the Top 20.

Just how you want a future guard to look. His speed and athletic ability shine above everyone else on the court.
Kid is ridiculously good
Funny how a game that has no conference impact but does have overall seeding implications has turned into the pivotal game in back to back seasons. What a great momentum builder for Tuesday
Really good comp. Kev's highs and lows are the same, rewarding and costly just like Dave was. Making that dagger 3 made up for several bad wide open misses. Just Kev I guess, he's a big shot maker at opportune moments. Defensively he was in his bag yesterday in passing lanes, digging 50/50 balls and boards. Makes up for the previous 3-4 games where he seemed to get scored on at will. Crazy stuff.
Said it earlier in the season, you would never know this kid didn't play here 4 yrs. His fit here in uncanny
Jalen has averaged 28 a game the last 4. It's incredible how good this kid is as a scorer, leader, everything. Grown A** Man. Hearing him talk after every game, he's a professional and absolutely soaked in all that Agbaji taught him last season.
It's been incredible watching his rise.
Huge freaking win
Well it's safe to say they unbroke themselves
Jalen is the most confident shooter in a long long time
Such a dumb pass
Another foul coming on defense
Mj not ever trying. sit
Another one joke
Tons of contact on that KJ bucket and then minimal contact on consecutive fouls. Makes sense
Not a foul
Omg harris
Big time plays
Very simple reasoning. I like it
Sub Bobby. Thanks
Some really solid d from freshman. Size matters
Bobby what is your problem man
This team is legit broken
Great start as always
Methzu is crushing Iowa St
Oklahoma up 30 on Bama
