@ajvan me too! In the meantime I really want to see the Tharpe that won a few games for us. Our shooters will have off games, but our pt can't take a pm off. Hopefully some one on one w/coach, film and some confidence will get him back to playing like we know he can.

@ralster if in the tournament our pt guards are playing like they did last pm, can you think of another option? My son and I were kicking that around last pm. Selden is TO prone. Mason seems to be getting less time. Naadir has had many great games, hoping they can figure that out!
@drgnslayr I wish there was tape of the post game interviews. Just listening was so cool to hear him giggling! I'd also like to see tape of the celebrating. Think the "jersey" is starting to mean the same to him as it does to us longtime fans! Starting to realize the time is slipping away. He's a special player and very happy he chose Kansas! @drgnslayr loved the press, thought it got them going 2nd half! I realize they were playing TCU, but they were fun to watch, the 2nd half. Let's build on this and take care of teams, one by one. Like to see Embiid come off bench, go slowly back in to it. Thanks, love this post.

With this team, I don't know how you can say any player is the most important one. Every game someone steps up more than others. These guys do a great job of playing within the team concept. I think Wiggins does a great job playing TEAM ball. When he does his spin moves in to the lane, that is what Self wants him to do. On Perry's second 3, Wiggins dribbled into the lane and dished out to Perry for the three. These guys are unselfish. Wouldn't trade any of them.
As far as the press goes, I just watched the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half. 2 steals, a five second call and a forced TCU timeout...in my opinion, playing a full court press, gets the players in a higher energy mindset. I think they play harder, get juiced from some easy baskets, which fires you up to play even harder on D! Even if you give up an easy basket, it's worth it in the long run. This team feeds off of great plays by each other.
As far as Embiid coming back, I'm hoping we bring him off the bench. Have Tarik set the tone. Embiid has been so beat up. I really want him to be strong when we get Texas at home! We owe them!

I'm glad we have wiggins! He didn't ask for any drama. He plays w/in the team concept. He had 4 assists today. He's our best defender. I wish he was here for 4 years too. AW3 has been playing behind Greene anyway. I trust Self!

@REHawk I think Jamari will be back and I think w/those 3 we will be good. We have been playing w/a limited Embiid for awhile. If we had Jamari I have no doubt that we beat ksu. Always remember Danny and the miracles! So many injuries. These guys will get quality minutes and Embiid will get his moJO back!
