Replay. Didn't look like a kicked ball
Dog house for you lol
KU against the world. I'm taking KU
lol
We wouldn't be in this game if not for SVI
Scott drew up some plays. LOL
About time for some BIFM
Wow refs finally called a foul on Baylor.
LL is off his game. :disappointed:
Is there any thing JJ can't do?
Bodies, He has no choice.
graham crackers
You have to play with what you got.
can we get a miss?
Charge.
Whoa I'm starting to like Coleby bum knee and all. If they call a foul on JJ for that, then Coleby was fouled.
Wow bad call for some home cooking.
No we need bigs. LoL but I feel ya. :+1:
Mason warming up
And to think Mason hasn't even got going yet. I say YET.

If they were playing cribbage. KU has stolen the crib.
Baylor/Drew burning a timeout. :bowtie:
Baylor got their game in the first half. KU gets the second half.
OH the Ukraine assassin is about to show up. He always starts off slow. :kissing_heart:
The shots are going to fall in the second half.
Who cares KU is down six. They couldn't hit the broad side of a barn in this first half, and is only 6 down. Geez
Mason = money.
Baylor unbeatable. LOL
Don't worry KU nation. KU is going to get it going.
What did I say JJ is a stud.
Graham crackers.
Looked up Josh Jackson in the Dictionary. I guess he's a stud. :satisfied:
KU not hitting the three. Bolds well for the second half.
Why do we have two threads going on?
No doubt the Baylor Bears are flying high this year. Their team is loaded and has experience. They have the pieces to be one of the best teams in the country if they aren't already.
Yet one problem. ((((Scott Drew)))) The cat can recruit. I'll give him that. Yet is there a coach that has done less with the talent he recruits?
Baylor will come to play. Yet they only can go as far as their captain can take them. If I were Scott Drew I would attend one of Coach's camps. It would do him wonders. Might even make him one of the best in the country. Like I said the cat can recruit.
Well I know he was innocent with the case of the girl. Yet he was out after midnight. That whole situation could've been avoided by being in bed or watching some tv on the couch at home. That's all I'm saying. Most kids don't go looking for trouble. Trouble finds them. It's kind of like being in the wrong place at the wrong time. These kids/young men represent KU basketball. the need to avoid the wrong places and know what time it is.
I'll be the first to sign the petition to let Bragg play. Yet I'm just a KU fan and my interest is in KU winning. I'm not Coach or a mentor trying to teach these young men not only how to play the game but to be men.
Like the old saying where there is smoke there might be a fire. In Braggs case it might be just small embers just smoldering. Yet embers can grow into a raging fire. Might be time for KU and Coach to nip this in bud. (no pun intended) LOL
Being the trouble maker I was when I was boy/wanna be man. I found myself on the wrong side of the law a time or two. I would assume a diversion charge in Braggs case would require some drug and alcohol/drug classes and some number of hours in community service. Yet this a new day. It maybe as simple of paying a fine and checking in with a counselor monthly for a set time period. Like I said times have changed.
As for playing time. Coach is the captain of the ship. He'll play when Coach says he can play. Coach loves to win but not at the cost of teaching, or defaming his program. It's a hard call. Though Bragg's two brushes with law are really nothing in the grand scheme of society. It's the fact he's had two brushes with the law. Coach and his mentors have to at least entertain the thought a pattern maybe developing.
Times are changing they really are. What once was a taboo thing like smoking pot, Mary J, Chronic, or whatever you want to call it. It no longer draws the ire of society like it once did. Not excusing Bragg for breaking team rules. Yet smoking from the old Bong isn't looked down upon as it once was.
It wasn't too long ago that Mario Chalmers and I forget the other Jayhawk got busted at NBA rookie camp for smoking the marijuana. Think that was the first time the puffed the green herb?
Good or bad it is what it is.
I really feel the reason KU has played some many teams to close scores. Is the limit of bodies that Coach can play. Which means less fouls to give, and that equals subpar defense. If Mitch could start eating some minutes. Lucas and Bragg could actually play a little more aggressive on the defense side of the court.
Just a thought.
Sadly I wasn't able to watch the game. Things way beyond my control. Yet I read this:
Lightfoot contribution
With Texas’ big front line wearing down the Jayhawks midway through the first half, Self turned to freshman Mitch Lightfoot for a four-minute spurt and wound up getting more than he expected.
Lightfoot, who had not played in KU’s last two games and stepped on the floor for just four minutes in the Jayhawks’ last six games, finished 1-for-1 from the floor with two points, two rebounds and a vote of confidence from his head coach.
“I thought it was great,” Self said of Lightfoot’s lone basket off of a missed layup by Frank Mason III. “That’s as good of an offensive tip-in as we’ve had all year — left-handed, across his body. That was great. I thought Mitch did well. I haven’t got him in and he deserves to play more than he has. But it was nice to see him have some success when he got out there."
Is it true? Did Mitch do alright? Is there a real chance of eating up some minutes? Help me out here.
Maybe one of the KU fans could've taken a swing at the Iowa state coach. LOL
That's it girl game by game.
Look I'm ok with breaking down the game. Yet it seems that is all you do. At some point you have to give credit when credit is do. This was a good win for KU.
Come on say it with me? This is a good win.
Are you looking for a perfect game every time our beloved Jayhawks hit the court ???
Well then don't enjoy the regular season. So what if KU beats West Virginia? What if KU beats Kentucky? Then What ??? Do they still have to many holes to win it all ???
We all want a final 4, or even a NC. Yet you keep bringing up flaws of this team. Yet this team keeps winning. Remember just after the last game you felt KU had no chance of winning at Ames. Yet they did and did it pretty much controlling the whole game.
